This review is for Germantown location. I wasn’t pleased with the level of care my child received. They completed an evaluation on my child but held no conference with me to discuss intervention. I removed my child immediately. They hire anyone at the facility. My child was unable to flourish in the community. Always looked uncomfortable. Since removing my child they have began to flourish emotionally and their vocabulary has developed intensely. Not sure where the disconnect happened but I refused to continue.

Both my children attend OCDS Cuthbert, and they love it! We enjoy the community of teachers, staff and family that make this school so special. The children enjoy classes including yoga, science, art, cooking, English and math. My kids enjoy the routine and fun events they have to look forward to. We've been able to participate in great field trips and family events. I look forward to being able to get back to all the social events , summer camp fun and parents night out, but until then, OCDS has done a fantastic job keeping with CDC guidelines and going above and beyond with keep our kids safe!

We sent our son to OCDS from age 11 months, and he grew up through the Glowworms room, to the Catarpillars and into the Butterflies! The facility is warm and welcoming, and full of windows. The directorial staff is always kind and accommodating with all of our questions, from the nitty gritty stuff about the day-to-day to the big finance questions. Also, once our son moved to Butterflies, his lunch was included in tuition which was an amazing convenience - they have a nice variety of foods for the kids to try! We have had some truly lovely teachers during our time at OCDS, and you can see that they got to know and love our son too. We loved getting daily updates through their secure app (the pictures are always so cute) and seeing all of the fun projects the kids were working on: making pumpkin pie, painting numbers and letters, walks to the park and sensory activities, learning songs to wash their hands, learning how to put things away after playtime, etc. The programming has been wonderful and we've watched our son grow in leaps and bounds. It's been really amazing to see. We also love that there is a live, secure camera feed, so that you can take a quick peek into the classroom whenever you miss your little one! That said though, they also respected our wishes not to have our son's photo posted to the school's social media accounts, which we appreciate. We have loved our experience at OCDS, and due to changes in our situation we left the school, but were so sad to go! I definitely recommend OCDS - the directors, the staff and the programming are wonderful.

I switched my baby to OCDS after a very trying experience with another daycare. I was so nervous to start over, but OCDS has been very supportive, attentive, and detail-oriented. It's a day school serving babies so nothing is perfect-- the caregivers have their hands full-- but they speak to the babies with love, host circle time with a bongo drum and singing, and get out in the fresh air often. My child always comes home with a smile on her face. Also, you can check in via camera on an app. What parent doesn't like that?

Olde City Day School (Cuthbert Street location), is the best choice for parents in Philadelphia. The infant room teachers are loving, caring and nurturing, and always make parents feel at ease. Teachers for the toddlers through preschool create age appropriate art activities and fun-filled academic circle times. This year the director started a summer camp program that includes water play, field trips in the neighborhood, picnics – they even had a live reptile show! Plus, the enrichment program includes Spanish classes, yoga, cooking, soccer shots, science classes and trips to the National Liberty Museum. Olde City Day School is the perfect environment to start your child’s educational experience!

As a parent, leaving your child in someone else's care generally comes with some natural anxiety. I can say that my daughter's transition into Olde City Day School was so smooth, and was truly a testament to the teachers and staff at the Cuthbert St. location. She LOVES going to school has learned so much in the Glowworms room. I'm thankful for all of the educationally-enriched activities they do with the children from crafts to circle time, water play and going on walks.

My family and I love Old City Day school Cuthbert. They are always so nice and professional. Miss Taylor is amazing and my daughter loves her. Mrs. Tracey at the front desk always has a friendly smile to greet us every morning. We get updates and pictures throughout the day of our little one and even have access to live video feed from her room. They make us feel like our child is always safe and always learning.

My little girl has had a great experience at the Old City location. She's been there since she was an infant, and she's really been able to learn and grow in the Glowworms classroom. The teachers and administrators have all gone above and beyond, particularly in some really stressful situations. I'm so thankful we have them in our lives.
