I brought a dress in to get the top altered, it had a manufacturing defect that resulted in extra fabric. I was told that this alteration was doable. They had my dress for an entire month and had to redo it twice. Instead of solving the problem, at one point they raised the waistline in the front, causing it to look like a maternity dress, while still having an excess of fabric poking out. After a month of alterations, the dress looked worse than when I had brought it in, with marks from where they had previously raised the waist, new puckered creases, and still had the excess fabric. I had to eventually just take it as is, with the event being the following day.
They did a good job on the hem, but I would never recommend them for anything else. I would have completely respected and appreciated if they had just told me that it was outside of their capabilities, instead of wasting my time and ruining my dress.

Best place for alterations in the city! I’ve taken numerous things here to get hemmed from a bridesmaid dress, to a pair of pants. Every time they make sure it’s exactly how I want it & prices and turn around time are extremely reasonable. I’ve referred many people here and have only heard great things! Highly highly recommend!!

I brought a twenty yrs jacket in that my son gave me beautiful jacket and there is no duplicate it was a lil big first of all the price was threw the roof 70 dollars to shorten the selves and do a minute alteration but cool I will be the sucker because I really like the jacket and when i went to pick it up I was going to wear but it wasn't cleaned so Nu way took my 70 dollars did the minute alteration and wrap it up and gave it to me i should have checked it but yeah Nu way never again this mite not make to the site but i felt good getting of my chest

Went for clothing alterations. Had the changes pinned by the guy behind the counter who was super nice and helpful. Picked them up a week later and they were expertly done.For example, I have a two layer chiffon-type fabric top and she sewed the layers separately (probably more than double the work and beyond what I would have expected).Highly recommend.

Nu Way is a LIFE SAVER! I'm heading to Diner En Blanc tonight and I totally forgot that the dress I wanted to wear needed a new zipper. I called a few other tailors that either didn't answer or couldn't fit me in same day (very understandable). I called Nu Way and they were so accommodating and completed my last minute zipper replacement in less than 4 hours. I will 100% be back for all of my dry cleaning needs!

Every time I come there the bald guy always have an attitude and I’ve been coming to them for over a decade. They also use some type of detergent or heat that tears my expensive t-shirt, this happened numerous times and what they’ll say is your frabic is no good but it luxury’s name brand. I came in today to drop off my clothes and he demanded my number rather then listening to me about what I want done to my clothes, this is my last time supporting them after over decade of them ruin my clothes and me jus not wanting to travel for dry cleaning. Now I would have to look for a more experienced cleaners now.
