The practice switched to a new system which caused a glitch with my chart, understandable when switching between systems, but I have been trying for two weeks to fill a critical prescription. This week alone I have tried to have the prescription refilled multiple days, and have spoken with the practice 3 days out of the five days they have been open. Now I have been without the medicine for a couple of days and the doctor at the practice has been ignoring the urgent messages all day, which will leave me without my medication for another several days due to the weekend. Seems like patient neglect to ignore urgent messages that will deny your patients necessary medication especially over a weekend.

At my annual visit, I brought up a concern I had and the CRNP in charge of my care didn’t have any solutions or follow up at all. It was like I was asking google what was wrong. To add fuel to flame, I asked for a doctors note to be excused from travel after my father passed away and I got shut down with a cold no. Not a false prescription or procedure, an excusal note. Goes to show how compassionate they are here

If I could give them a no star or negative star rating I would. This practice is terrible. They will hold your medications hostage, avoid phone calls, and frankly just want your copay. My husband and I have gone here for a few years and never really felt all that satisfied with our care. They don’t return calls, no professionalism, go somewhere else save yourself the aggravation.

I'm really frustrated! I switched to this office after Greenhouse Internists shut down, and everything seemed okay until I had an issue with my lab results. When I asked the lab manager some questions, they told me to talk to the office manager. The office manager, who'd been there for 20 years, was nice at first, but then dropped the bombshell that my on-site lab service is suspended from now on. I can't believe they'd punish me for just asking questions about a mistake with my labs. This is terrible customer service!

Do yourself a favor, find another PCP. The doctors, NPs, and office staff are horrible.

Went here this morning because my Primary Care physician is retiring, and I’m looking for another. Lobby seemed nice, and people at the front desk were friendly and professional. I have good insurance, and was hopeful things would work out.Due to a calendar error on my part, I was an hour early. I offered to come back on time. But they went ahead anyway. Great! I always go out of my way to be courteous to everyone, and I expressed my gratitude.Sadly, the nurse who checked me in was absolutely terrible. Needlessly abrupt, with an angry look on her face. Okay, fine; no “hello” or “good morning”. But condescending, rude and unfriendly for no reason? I can understand if someone is having a bad day, but this was something else. If I dealt with any client that way, I’d expect to be fired.I politely canceled my appointment after interacting with this woman for 5 minutes. Unfortunately, I can’t give access to my medical records to anyone who talks to people that way - or who would retain staff that does.I was excited to find a doctor nearby. It’s too bad. It seems like other people have had similar issues.

I started going to Mt Airy Family Practice 5+ years ago after my PCP closed her practice. I tried out multiple offices before I found this one, and immediately knew I'd found my new office. It has a cozy, residential vibe that does not feel like an impersonal clinical setting which immediately makes me feel relaxed. Marissa Patterson, NP is the bee's knees. She's an absolute gem who has seen me through some major medical events with care and knowledge.

My experience began pleasant for at least 3 years. The first NRCP was accommodating to my needs, the second and now the third. The front office, where you check in are very engaging andapproachable.I had a pleasant experience with one pheboromist but the two black ones were and are disrespectful unprofessional and ghetto. The younger one actually verbally abused me that I had to report her to my second nurse practitioners because of my post concussion symptoms and my reaction to the external stimulus, that it wouldn't be pretty for the young Nurses aid or assistant. She's young enough to be a granddaughter. The manager, her boss as well, but she's older gets sporty with me that I needed to take a wise approach and took the higher ground ? it's simple for me, if you don't start nothing, it won't be nothing ?

I've been a patient for many years. Tamika is a pro at taking blood and has the greatest personality. I see Suzanna Maynard. She's wonderful!!

This office is extremely UNRESPONSIVE. feels like it takes days on end to get in touch with anybody. It shouldn't take days to schedule an apt but that's how this practice runs

Mt Airy Family Practice is the absolute best. I've been coming here for 2 years now. This is the first time in years that I've felt this comfortable with a medical facility. The care is excellent and the whole staff are very personable. The nurse pratcioner Marisa Patterson, the receptionist, and the Phelbotomist are amazing.

I’ve been a patient here for approximately 30 years and I’m very satisfied with the healthcare providers and staff. I’ve had opportunities to visit most of the doctors on staff and I’m happy with each experience. I had one billing issue which was resolved.I highly recommend Drs. Kummer, Leath and Lyons.

My wife and I have been very satisfied patients for 15+ years. Changed my perceptions about what a Dr. office could be. Easy to schedule even on short notice, very short wait times, good doctor-patient interactions and complete documentation. I continue to refer colleagues.
