Terrible experience. Buyers beware: Bought some expensive fish that didn't survive 24 hours...then they chose not to honor thier printed return policy. Instead they tried to hustle me, insulted me, and tried treating me like I don't have 15+ fish tanks full of healthy and breeding fish. I trust neither thier fish husbandary nor competence nor character. The manager Chris is their biggest problem.Update: see this is why crooks are worse these days, he already got the money and has to brag about the hustle.

The fish tanks are well maintained and there is one particular lady who is very knowledgeable and helpful all the time. The other staff was also friendly but this one lady is the best out of the best. She gives genuine advice like you can tell she cares about the animals. We bought some fish and shrimps from here from time to time and all of them were healthy and living happily. We kept coming back for that reason.

My friend has been purchasing fish here for 5 years and recently bought a fish that was dead by the time he got home.They won't replace the dead fish and keep running him around in circles telling him to contact an unresponsive management.Edit - he says he waited 20 minutes at the store only for the supervisor to tell him to come back another day, and he filled out a form on the website and never heard back. This was Wed 4/10/24.The no returns policy applies to most of the fish but it still should have survived an hour trip home. Plus the supervisor never said that was the issue as the receipt said 7 days and he went back 3 days later.He even had it in the initial bagging the same way the store bagged it up.Edit 2- It was just a guppy. If you click Contact on your website, there is a form to input Name, Email, and Message he filled out with the full story, just as he told when in the store.

I was looking for a couple parakeets the cage to take care of them in and everything that they needed in monster aquarium had everything all kinds of fish and dog food and cat food and everything that I needed for my parakeets I appreciate the staff very much they were very kind and got me exactly what I needed thank you jh

MONDAY MARCH 4th 2024i didn’t know what this number belonged to . so i had a missing call and called back and the lady who answered was so damn rude . i said “ hey i have a missing call from this number “ and she said “ did you buy an animal ? “ and obviously since i didn’t know who’s number it was or where it was to i said no . so she continues to say “ well i only call people for animals “ and hangs up before i even finish my sentence . beyond rude . the call literally lasted 59 seconds .

Awful place as I was in a couple days ago and the manager with a grey beard and hair was degrading a kid, I don’t know the full story but awful disgusting person. The employees when asked to help seem if your bothering them. Can definitely get better service at Worldwide aquarium and hidden reef and for better prices. Nothing more than give me your money and get out type of chain store, with a disgusting lowlife manager that degrades little kids.

The store has the most humane set up for Bettas I have ever seen. I am unsure why you sell these inhumane “tanks” for bettas. Bettas need minimum 3 gallons, filtration system and a heater. There is also an opportunity to make more money selling the right set up for these little guys.

Associate where great, aside from the security accusing us from stealing. We made about 12 trips setting up multiple tanks, one of the sake reps, so a tank broken and told us to switch it. She told the security we were waiting on something, and he proceeded to search my little brothers pocket, accusing him of stealing lol yea only blk guys in the store at the time are just stealing, probably spent the most money that week......just to clarify I have no issue with monster pets, none of the cashier or guys that assist on the floor, monsters pet the store has always had great deals, great customer service & everything I need when searching for pet supplies.
