I went there about two weeks ago, mainly because it was the closest location to me during the day. My boyfriend asked me to find out my ring size and get an idea of the engagement ring I'd want. I was greeted by an obnoxious sales woman that didn't want to measure my finger size and told me that it's best to resize the ring after I get it. However, as someone who worked in the business before, I know that the goal is to be as close to size as possible at time of purchase in order to minimize disturbance to the settings while resizing. She then went on to tell me "we are probably not the place for you. We don't have what you are looking for. Our clients prefer to be unique in their choices". (I asked to see single stone, oval shaped white gold engagement rings). All I have to say is WOW. The store looked dinghy and unattended to. Don't go there. I was so ofended.

Nice, professional, selection very fine (including pieces from Italian craftsmen). Replaced my watch battery quickly and made sure to reseal the watch. Will return.

Rudest customer service ever! Went in asking about engagement rings, telling the woman that I'm trying to get a sense of what I like, etc. She flatly tells me they only do custom rings, sizes me up and down, and that was the end of the conversation. Never going back! Stick with Schwartz down the street.

They were able to find pieces for my antique watch and dint charge an arm and a leg. They were also able to completely renovate my E Belle watch after another jeweler told me it couldn't be fixed.

I stopped by on 10/28 to have a Seiko Watch Battery Replaced. She was done in 5 minutes, had set the time on my watch, and it cost only $10+tax and includes a 1 year warranty. Friendly service. I definitely recommend this store! Cute Swarovski crystals and jewelry to look at while you wait too. ($10 vs $25 in King of Prussia Mall).

I was a first time customer dropping off a watch to have the battery changed and a few links taken out. I was greeted warmly, quoted a price and had my watch back ticking and fitting nicely within minutes. :-) I would definitely recommend for anyone with any sort of watch repair needs!

I've been shopping with them for years, since I got my wife an eternity band to celebrate the birth of our now 8 y/o. They have always been very helpful in assisting me in wisely purchasing jewelry within my budget.

I couldn't disagree more with the previous reviewer. I've taken about a dozen watches to Robert Mills in the past year. They've been very polite and helpful and my watches have been beautifully restored. I have recommended them to others and will continue to do so.

We've been going to Mill's for repairs and watch servicing for many years. Not fancy, but they always to the job well and quickly! Maybe a little less hand holding and fawning than most folks are used to in jewelry stores but I'd rather have excellent quality workmanship and speedy turn around than having my ego stroked!

I have been to Robert Mills Jewelers once and I will not be returning ever again. I walked in one day hoping to get my wedding band polished as it had started to change in color. The woman who "helped" me never once looked up at me throughout my time there. She was busy recording something in her book and made me feel like I was wasting her time, though I was the only one in their desolate store. In the end she told me, in a tremendously demeaning tone, that they could not do anything for me and that I would have to live with my wedding band as it was. No greeting as I walked in, and no greeting as I walked out. I proceeded down Chestnut street and found another jeweler only a few doors away called William Schwartz... WHAT A DIFFERENCE! The amicable man greeted me very enthusiastically as soon as I stepped inside the shop. Despite the busy afternoon they were having, he asked me right away what I was in for and, after five minutes, I had already handed over my ring for what he called their "every six month polishing" and my ring is now sparkling new. Outstanding service, outstanding customer care. Save yourself a bad experience with Robert Mills and be sure to visit William Schwartz (only a few doors down) for your jewelry needs!
