Lied and said they don’t switch SIM cards on phones. They also said no other Metro PCs stores switch SIM cards either. I called a few other stores, they all said that they do switch SIM cards. I wouldn’t go to this particular location. They’re lazy liars!

Experience at the Metro PCS store located at 5610 Lancaster Avenue
During a visit to the Metro PCS mobile services store located at 5610 Lancaster Avenue in the Overbrook Plaza Shopping Center we had the most uncomfortable experience with the proclaimed store manager, in addition to the Apple mobile phone display not powered up which would have allowed us to assess the features.
We entered the store to inquire about Apple Phone services, but as we stood attempting to power on the phones on the display to no avail, we became distracted by a customer who was having an escalating dialogue with the gentleman who ultimately claimed he was the manager. The manager was having a flirtatious encounter with a young woman as an elderly woman waited in line to be serviced. The young woman motions the elderly customer to go ahead, the elderly customer asked are you sure you are done as the young lady did not remove her fast food remnants from the service counter. The elderly woman- insisted that she would wait until the girl was completely done with her transaction, but the young lady then stated I'm not a customer.
The elderly customer begins to engage with the manager by inquiring- about a phone and the services. He is very short and impatient with her. She did not fully understand what he was attempting to explain, instead of him recognizing that this was her first experience in purchasing a cellular phone, he takes on another customer (1) without excusing himself to assist this new customer (2) he vaguely gestured to her to look at the plans displayed on the wall. I noticed her looking at a display of cell phone cases, so I directed her to the service plan display and attempted to assist her in communicating her needs - she was becoming very frustrated by this time. Another gentleman attempted to assist her as well, but left after a few moments.
The elderly customer begins to rant, as she stated she is feeling that the manager doesn't care, and the managers rude response was "I'm not going to argue with you, you can go somewhere else." I explained to the manager that his tone and attitude was completely out of line and that he may need some additional training…I also stated that entertaining on company time is not in compliance with store policies…because a customer's experience begins from the time that they walk through the door of your establishment. His response to me was " Oh she's gonna tell me how to do my job." I gladly shared that I love giving reviews, and that he was truly a liability to this company-- to come into our community…want our money and business…yet demonstrate blatant disrespect.
What troubled me most was how he spoke to the elderly woman, totally disturbed my spirit.
I'm happy to enlighten you that there are people within this community that care, and care about their neighbors and we definitely care about the attitudes and work ethic of the businesses that come into our community.
Please inspire consciousness and mindfulness within your employees, staff, management.
Thank you!
Have a lovely day!
