I hired a mobility scooter from Marx Medical Equipment for my vacation in Philadelphia. The customer service and the scooter were great and made a real difference to my vacation. At the end, plans changed, and I needed to extend my hire - that all worked equally well! I am a very happy customer!

I would like to complain about the way you attempted to take my money without even an invoice. I just tried to schedule for a hospital bed repair. I was put on hold multiple times. I was told I couldn’t have an appointment date, invoice or contract until I paid. As a customer I would have no proof of what services were to be provided should you not show up. This 100% sounds like a scam.

When I say there was nothing like the ease of working with the representative to plan a trip with and for my aging mom. The electric scooter was at the hotel upon arrival and they even picked it up from the hotel upon our departure alleviating any extra trips during our stay. Communication was easy and flawless. I even received an email when the equipment was secured.

They hooked us up on short notice for TWO over a week long scooter rentals. The price was competitive and they do offer insurance I got. Now the scooters themselves are the low end models with awkward lights and batteries that don’t last 15 hrs and none the less they made our vacation incredibly enjoyable. We used fully loaded models in Charleston SC and it was a comparable ride other than the battery life so just ask the restaurants or museums you go to, to plug in for an hour or two to top it off. We had dozens of people ask how to get them and others comment OMG I need one of those what a great idea!!! In a week @ 4 mph we toured ALL the major historical spots and did a bunch of museums. Philli has pretty decent sidewalks, it can be a bit bumpy in certain parts of town like the historic district but we just slowed our roll and are still going faster than the walkers.
It’s a bargain as @ Disney their $70 a DAY! Neither of us can walk very far as we both have bad backs and this made our vacation THE BEST EVER!!!
Don’t be afraid to tour the city on these we never took a taxi or subway we went all over the city to fancy dinners at night and all. Drove them through reading terminal for hours eating and shopping. The city has very much made the city scooter and wheelchair accessible. Museums allow you to tour riding ON THEM which makes 5-6 hours in a museum or museum hopping possible. The adjustable speed makes strolling with others possible.
I have to take a star because the man he sent to set up and deliver my carts did not tighten everything well when they were assembled at the hotel so I had to keep tightening things. I’m letting the owner know. Even with me needing to tighten and repair them as we went it was fine. They have a number to call if you have issues and they did answer I’m just mechanical and fixed it before they came to…. The scooters themselves were good and delivery was free. I just think making sure it’s assembled tightly is the one thing to do regardless of who you rent from (lesson learned) and then have a great time and take it slow where it’s not flat =•>

I needed a wheelchair for my Mom for our four days in Philly for the Flower show. Nichelle was very helpful and made sure we were taken care of. The price was very reasonable, and the chair came right on time . . . it was already there when we arrived at our hotel . . . and they picked it up from the hotel at the end of our stay without any hassle. A terrific experience all the way around. Thak you!

We could not be more satisfied with the level of service Marks Medical provided for our hospital bed rental. They were friendly, very helpful, knowledgeable and flexible. They were on time for delivery and pick up and always responded promptly to our calls. There are no negative comments to be made. Far exceeded our expectations.
