During sightseeing Reading market, I saw someone ordering like a regular would do. Then my instinct told me that it’s been frequented by locals. I took my chances and got Kielbasa, breakfast sausages, and took this regular guy’s recommendation for provolone Italian sausages. I cooked them home, and they tasted like dream! Next time in Philly, I’ll go back.

Pro tip: When a customer asks for two pieces of chicken roughly the same size, put at least some effort into getting it right. If you don’t want to put in the effort to provide quality service to the customer and would instead rather do things as quickly as possible and gab with fellow employees, find another. There are other options in the Terminal. Perhaps ownership should spend more time observing.

If you are into the freshest meat and sausage available, then I would say that Martin's is the place for you. This place literally has everything. The butchers are willing to cut meat or bones in whichever way you choose. They are super helpful and I have never had a problem with the quality. If you are into exotic game well pack your bags! This place has alligator, antelope, Buffalo and believe it or not camel. Yes, I said,, camelSo if you want to cook your significant other a nice camel burger giddyup. The restrooms at the Reading Terminal Market where this business is located is wheelchair accessible. Parking as I've stated in other reviews is potluck. usually if you get there early you have a better chance of finding parking. There are accessible spaces on the street that are marked. Make sure that you park your car between both signs or you will get a ticket.

They have instructions to take a number but they take orders who walk up before the people waiting with numbers. I asked the employee if they were going by the numbers at all. He said “I don’t know” and resumed taking the lady’s order who walked up about 3 minutes AFTER me. That makes me not want to support this business. And it makes me want to tell my family and friends not to support as well. But hey, screw me, right? I’m only one customer. Do better.

Tried the Italian sausage with garlic and red peppers on the grill and we loved them! Delicious! Can't wait to try some other sausage versions.

I bought 127 dollars worth of meat. When I got home in Delaware County, my 2lbs of bacon was missing. My husband picked up day later. When I decided to cook on the grill the Sunday before Labor Day. I discovered my lamb burgers weren’t here. I called explained what happened. Someone from Martin’s called me back. I appreciated that he called and apologized. He asked when can I come back. I went back today and was told by Joshua that they are not responsible for items that were not placed in bag. I have been a loyal customer for years. Not anymore. Things are changing for the worst

They will steal your money, and you will say thank you. Got a receipt that did not list the type of meat, price/pound, nor the weight. But because I took note of the price/pound at the counter, I decided to weigh the meat when I got home (it seemed suspicious). Turns out they "tipped" themselves $5.50 (out of a total of $17.91). Probably this is not the only place at the Reading Terminal Market that does this kind of price "adjustment", as I have noticed, but I am not going back.
