Been going here forever. Really wish they didn't refrigerate/freeze their breads though. Now I can't stop in and grab one for a quick lunch at room temperature. I liked it better the old way where the breads sat in the display. You told them what you wanted and they wrapped them up right in front of you.

Everything Marchiano's makes is delicious! It's a very small, no frill, shop and is cash only, but their breads are yummy. My favorites are the spinach and cheese and tomato and cheese!

cant knock the food, it is good but curse the people that work here. they are dicks to new customers- the ordering process isnt exactly common or intuitive so when people have questions they roll their eyes when answering. theres also no internet presence so not like you can look it up beforehand. fuuuuuckkk that attitude! your business cant survive without growing- so start answering peoples questions or prepare to go under. couch tomato here i come!

I'm sad to give such a low rating to a place with such good food, but I'll explain.First of all, cash only. Yes, with an ATM in store, but still cash only. I'm not even deducting any stars for this, just mentioning it.Apparently, you can't simply "try" or get a piece or even 2-3 from their famous tomato pie. You need to buy half a tray, at least. Of course, if you live nearby, come to visit with a car, or have been going to this store for years, you know these things and it's fine. But we didn't. We came with our bikes a very long way, and even though the people were super kind to us, they made absolutely ZERO EFFORT to help us get some pie despite agreeing to get half a tray.We just needed to move the pieces to their smaller packages (the ones they use for other breads and pies), which were so much smaller and we could use 2-3 of them, and it would've been perfectly fine. But nope. They wouldn't "move" the pie.The cherry on top was them suggesting we get their speciality breads instead. Which we did. Then, after we left, we read in the instructions that they're supposed to be baked first... And they didn't mention that to us.$10 for a bread that is not even baked? I'd reconsider. With that being said, the cheesesteak with the onions and the sauce bread was the most delicious cheesesteak we've had in Philly. The pepperoni was yummy, too, but a bit more basic.Promise to come back more prepared next time and finally taste the tomato pie.

BEST tomato pie around! Family owned business that's been in the neighborhood forever. My Dad took me there when I was a kid for their freshly made breads.

I drive from South Jersey to get tomatoe pies. Hands down, the best. Nobody compares. Was raised off Marchianos tomatoe pies. My uncle would bring them to us for over 25 years until he died. I will still continue to make the ride to keep the tradition alive and because it is the best. Best tomatoe pie period. Thank you.

Great food but terrible hours, open when a majority of the population is at work

The food may be good but their hours are awful. Good luck trying to get anything here when you're off work or want to stop here for dinner. Best for folks who WFH or are retired to get a tomato pie at 10am. I'll patronize places that have better hours for its customers.

The best there's ever been. Best tomato pie in the world and it's not even a debate. And the breads.
