AC breaks all of the time in the summer - leaves apartments 90 degrees. Management completely ignores requests for days or weeks.

Management ranges from subpar to outright rude. Doesn't adhere to their notifications of entry half the time, have mice problems in the winter, becoming super overpriced for the location. Great area though so maybe find somewhere close by to live for a reasonable price.

After the devastating Hurricane Ida floods, the Manayunk Development Corporation ordered the towing of over 30 flood damaged cars off the Venice Island parking lot. This was done in the first few hours that the flood waters made the lot accessible, leaving owners no time to even inspect the damage. They made absolutely no effort to contact the owners of the vehicles, and couldn’t even go to the extent of posting a sign on the lot to inform owners of what happened. Not only that, but on the day after the most catastrophic event in modern Manayunk history (a Friday) - THEY CLOSED THE OFFICE AND TOOK OFF for the extended Labor Day weekend. It is the most unprofessional thing I have ever even heard of to close the office on what is, without a doubt, the most important event to ever happen in your career as a non profit group “dedicated to Manayunk”.I called the owners of the lot, the Philadelphia Parking Authority, several local police stations, AND towing companies. ALL of them said the same thing - MDC was the entity that ordered the towing. After days of searching, I finally found my car in a junk lot miles away. Only then was I able to even begin my insurance claim for the damage. If I did not find my own car through my own efforts, I would have reported it stolen by MDC to the police, because it effectively was. I was a monthly pass owner on the lot, and I have every right to keep a car in a space on that lot, whether it has sustained water damage or not.Where was the communication to vehicle owners? How was I supposed to initiate my insurance claim if I don’t even know where my car is? How do you think it is acceptable to move vehicles without owners consent only hours after the lot became accessible? And, most outrageously, HOW could you possibly justify closing the office and ignoring all calls for FIVE DAYS after you do it?

Nice location but management is sub par. Lived here for years and was very disappointed in service, management and quality. Over priced for what it is but enjoyed the location.

Bad management service and unfriendly. Dryer didn't work, it was not fixed. Rug damaged. Is necessary to be in a wait list for payed parking. Saw cockroaches almost immediately running through the rug. The apartments are in a nice area but is not worth for the price.
