You need to go here - incredible! I got the coconut curry almonds which are such a beautiful yet subtle flavor, and the dark chocolate covered oreos which are proper dark flavor and have a good snap. Their prices are also very reasonable, way more affordable and better tasting than Shane Confectionary and certain shops in Reading Terminal. Super pretty store too. Ive lived in Philly for two years and its really hard to find the great places hiding among the overpriced-but-mid tourist spots, but this is definitely one I will return to for its quality. Employees super nice too.

I visited Philly on 3/24/24 and did a tour which I learned that Lore’s Chocolate store has been family owned for many many years. I had to check it out. My partner and I could have bought out the whole store but tried to maintain control. LOL! We love chocolates. We got a customized box, caramels covered over marshmallow, and jelly beans. Everything we got was delish and well worth the calories! I would return every time I check out PA. I highly recommend anyone who likes sweets to try them out since they have a great selection and different options. 5 out 5 stars for the chocolates and the friendly service we received. Everyone was so lovely and such a pleasure.

Better than I expected, my mini vacation was phenomenal, I started following them online, I said when I go to Philadelphia I want truffles from Lore's.I hope they ship to Puerto Rico.Thank you, very delighted.

If you love chocolate, you will love Lore's Chocolates. There is so much variety. It is delicious and reasonably priced. The staff are friendly and attentive.

For years I send someone to get my items from your store. Each time he tells me he doesn't like going because he is uncomfortable.This past Feb. 13 he again went to shop your store for me and you actually called the police! A female police officer approached him. My friend is a wonderful professional, young black man.I am a long time customer and for about 30 years this man has shopped your store for me.No longer.

I had an overwhelmingly positive experience here today. The staff were so kind, patient, and generous. I bought a 1/2 lb boxes of mixed chocolates I thought the price was very reasonable for the quality and variety offered. Each chocolate I have tried has been delightful. I am sad that I walked by this place so many times without stopping in! I will be back many, many times.
