I had my veryyy pink bridal shower at Loft on Passyunk / Society Hill Dance Academy. I loved the open concept of this space which really allowed for creative freedom when setting up for our event. They provided tables and chairs as well as allowing us to come in the day before to set up, which was very convenient for the day of the shower. Everyone really loved the space and the location on beautiful East Passyunk.

Had our wedding here this past weekend and everyone loved the atmosphere. Very industrial and easy to decorate, tons of bathrooms, huge bridal suite area and cute outdoor terrace. Shana was helpful and quick to respond the whole time, couldn't be happier with the venue.

I just had my wedding at The Loft on Passyunk. It was the most perfect venue! Not only is the place spacious, but it is beautiful. We felt like we didn’t need decorations because of the natural aesthetics: wood floors and ceilings, mirrors, and exposed brick. The bar downstairs is stunning!!We had 206 people, and there was never a feeling of being too crowded. Downstairs we sat our family and upstairs we sat our friends. We had two buffet stations upstairs, along with a bar. There are a total of 8 bathrooms (there were never any lines) and a courtyard for some fresh air breaks.Shana is a dream to work with!! She is so flexible and let us use the couches and tables she had in the venue as well. Our guests loved it!It really was the best and most perfect venue!

It’s coming up on a year since we had our phenomenal Penn State themed wedding reception at the venue. From beginning to end Shana worked with us and although COVID caused us to move the date 3 times, she was amazingly accommodating. The layout allows for maximum flexibility and we had room for everyone to dance and dine! Everyone walking down the Avenue was looking in and wanted to join the fun! I cannot recommend higher! WE ARE!!

The Loft On Passyunk team and venue could not have provided a better experience for our childhood cancer non-profit cocktail party! Shana and her whole team went above and beyond to be accommodating and helpful throughout the process of getting planned and set up before, during, and after our event. We had a great night and received countless complements on hosting the event at such a great venue. Highly recommend and will be back for future Philly events!

This venue was fine for a graduation party for my daughter until I tried to get my $1,500.00 security deposit back. The owner/operator insisted on cash for the security deposit. Someone threw up on a previously damaged and old grey leather sofa, which we were perfectly willing to take care of. It was cleaned off and only previous stains were really detectable. It is noteworthy that this same sofa is currently being used daily by the Loft on Passyunk or Society Hill Dance Academy, as it is also called, more than three months after the event. Next, the owner/operator created a litany of false damages/charges for which she had no or no legitimate receipts. l tried to cover any damages via the event insurance that I purchased and then through my home owners insurance. The owner/operator, Shana H., failed to provide ANY receipts for either insurance company's claims adjustors. She refused to communicate with me and/or the insurance companies in attempts to negotiate a settlement. Therefore, neither insurance company could address any damages, real or fabricated. I am currently in the process of filing a dispute in Small Claims court and I also plan to file consumer complaints with the PA Department of State and any other consumer protection organizations that can address my concerns. Initially, the owner/operator was helpful and accommodating. After the event, she was difficult to contact by phone and avoided responding to some emails. I honestly hope what happened to my daughter and me was an anomaly.
