So disappointed and saddened by the atmosphere here since the old owners left. This has been my pharmacy since I was little growing up in the neighborhood, and even though it's a drive for me, I have continued to use it for my children's and mine medicine for years. I'm afraid that may be no more for us. Although Jerry and Jamie are sweet and kind, the rest of their staff seems to have a perpetual chip on their shoulders.Today, as a single mom struggling to get by, I stopped to get medicine for me as well as my children (usually it's only them I need to go for). While I know the pharmacy has no control over insurance copays, when they told me the price would be in triple digits, I knew that there was no way for me to afford it. I would have even bypassed that medication and still gotten the two pricey, but double-digit prescriptions. While I stood there with my autistic preschooler, they proceeded to glare at me and very pointedly make judgmental remarks about the fact that I said no because of the price. It's hard enough being a single mom of multiple children, including two with special needs. It's even harder when you are being treated like some sort of outcast from society by a "neighborhood 'family'" pharmacy. Especially when the meds in question were to help me breath during a severe bout of asthma.I'm saddened, not angry. No one deserves to be treated as less than purely for trying to care for their family. I feel for other families who go here. It definitely doesn't have the old caring for each other feel it once had.(For the record, it's not the price I'm upset by. It's the lack of being able to treat one another like decent human beings by not being unkind and rude. You never know what someone is going through, and somedays your lack of basic human kindness can be more crushing than you realize.)

I transferred all my Rx to Linksys. I'm not just a number like the Big Pharma stores such as Walgreens, Rite Aid etc. Jerry and Jamie and the staff give you friendly Mom and Pop service. Keep up the great work.

THE BEST! This pharmacy is the best pharmacy in South Philly, I'd go as far to say the best in Philadelphia period. The staff is so polite, knowledgeable and kind. This is my home pharmacy from now on and will not go anywhere else! Thank you Linsky's

Switched to this pharmacy after years of frustration dealing with the big chain pharmacies. Love that a real human answers the phone and they give their patients individualized attention. Easy to speak with the pharmacist with any questions or concerns. This place is way better than all the chain pharmacies in the neighborhood.

Pharmacies like this are, sadly, a dying breed. The personal attention and service makes then 2nd to none. My insurance insists that I use CVS or mail order for regular prescriptions and I refuse to use them. I will continue to give Linsky's my business!

I moved to Pensport a few years ago and switched my pharmacy to Linsky's. This place is great, all around. Their staff are helpful, prompt, friendly and friends with seemingly everyone who comes in the door. Seriously, the store has super comfortable rocking chairs inside, inviting all to take a load off and relax. Jerry, the pharmacist is helpful with any medication issues and offers easy to understand explanations. They stock interesting locally made goods, and they used to make their own AMAZING lip balm. Can't recommend Linsky's highly enough!

My parents, Martha and Morton Linsky owned the drugstore for almost thirty years. They were the most respected and loved merchants on southSecond Street. My mother worked side by side with my Dad and together ran an old fashioned service oriented business. It would have been nothing for my Dad to fill a prescription for a needy neighbor after hours which involved standing on his fee for twelve hours. Because we lived behind the store, my parents made themselves available any hour.Their kindness, caring and responsivness are legendary. To this day if I should run into someone who remembers them the praise and accolades are immeseasurable. They are missed and loved by their family into eternity!

Great customer service, great people, far easier and less hassle to deal with over the bigger pharmacies. Plus, they deliver locally in a known time-frame, which has been amazing.

They are the embodiment of a great, small business, neighborhood store. They are quick, professional, and always personable. Also the medication costs a fraction of what other placed charge.
