Great service, staff was knowledgeable about (speaking as a tourist) Ben Franklin Parkway and the Betsy Ross house. Prices are pretty good, also. Highly recommend as a flag loving tourist of Philly.

Visited recently with a tween who is very, very into flags. Based on some of the photos and reviews I told them not to get their hopes up and that we would go check it out and hope for the best. Well, this kid was in flag heaven! Matt let us know he was there but mostly let us wander through the store and rummage through all the drawers and piles of flags. When we had questions, Matt was there with answers. We told him we were going to walk the Parkway to look at the flags (which Humphrys provides) and Matt even gave us some trivia and things to look for. When it was time to check out the total was a little surprising since nothing is tagged/priced, but it is a family business in a very expensive part of town, so it is what it is. Really awesome experience for the kid and the adult!

I ordered a flag and never received it. I left numerous voice-mails for the owner, Matt. He returned my call once but after that, went dark. I wasn't able to get a response via their website and they have no email, only a phone number. I'm disappointed that a company that says they "strive to ensure customer satisfaction in every step of our process" finds it OK to just not fulfill an order nor provide an opportunity to refund or rectify the situation.

The flag quality was great and the price was average for the high quality flags the place was amazingly messy and things were everywhere I’m sorry for writing this but I hope it gets cleaned up !!

Edit** it's a work in progress. Got one flag and super nice.In 2018 I ordered two custom flags made of hemp that Humphry's Flag Company said they could make for me but would require extra time to find the right material. It's 2021 now and they have never returned the $400 that I spent on that order. I never received any flags and every time I stopped in the store their staff would say they would get back to me about it. Eventually they said they would drop off a check but they never did. Now the store has been closed since covid happened and there is no way to even serve them with court papers. I have been very upset that they would treat someone this way and lie so many times about fulfilling an order or returning money.

Highly disappointed. Purchased a large number of international flags. Two were missing and one was made incorrectly. They never sent the hardware that I also paid for. I contacted them by phone and by email with NO response. They are distrustful.

Never open when I visit. Can't contact via phone (no answer), doesn't answer email. Appears they aren't actually in operation.

Best knowledge of flags in town! They make any custom flags once you send the art. Sewing, appliqué, digital print- we ordered it all for our movie jobs. Sometimes hard to get a hold of, “antique” store but you get the best quality flags for any custom job! Matt is awesome to work with.

I got an American flag and an Uzbek flag from them for my house in Beverly, MA. They were both WAAAAYYY better quality than I had anticipated. I'll definitely be recommending Humphrys to my friends.

Purchased a tea-stained Betsy Ross American Flag for a Christmas gift for my daughter and son-n-law, for their new place in Alexandria VA. Looks great, and they loved it....thank so much!
