The 40th & Market (Uni-City District) location is by far a great H&R BLOCK location with helpful staff that is prompt with responses and able to provide the assistance that I was hoping for. It was better than expectations to be totally honest. I happened to be the one that was not prepared when it came to my documents and having to go do some virtual ground work to obtain from my employers. The staff was willing to be understanding, patient and without exaggerating... Literally, going above and beyond to make sure that I was satisfied for the most part. I am looking forward to visiting this specific location again in the years to come when it comes to TAX SZN.

while the front desk receptionist is very nice, the office doesn't understand what an appointment is. I show up for my appointment and the "tax professional" comes out to say the appointment before me is taking longer than expected and I'll have to come back. The whole point of making appointments is to avoid this. Incredibly unprofessional, certainly wouldn't trust them to do my taxes.

I have had the worst experience at his place ever. I came in to file my taxes for the past two years, and they gave me a bunch of paperwork stating that they had filled my taxes. I filed them back in March, and it's June now. I still don't have my refund. I called them today, and someone in the customer service department told me that she couldn't see a record of me in the system. They never filed my taxes and took my money for the filing fees. I paid these people, and they never filed my taxes. How incompetent one has to be to do such a thing. I will not recommend them to anyone. Honestly, go somewhere else or, if you can, learn to do it yourself. These people and especially Peggy, are not reliable at all. I even talked to Katherine Howard, the manager, at the beginning since I was having issues with Peggy delaying my taxes. Even after her supervision, I still don't have my return, and they lied to me by saying that they had filed them. So unprofessional and incompetent. I've never left a bad review for anyone in my life, but I had to for them. Please, save your time and money by not doing business with them.

The staff was unprofessional and told me after waiting they should have left an hour ago...my problem? They rescheduled me for today at 3 got a call at 12:30 trying to reschedule me and sent a text saying appointment at 4. 13 thumbs down
