“I was there during wrestlemania weekend and the staff was, knowledgeable, professional, friendly, and made you feel like you were home. Especially Craig, Darnise, Sharee, and Wendy. All great staff and I would go back in a heartbeat.”

“Just lovely. The Liberty Bell is a 10-minute walk, which I did yesterday, during which I passed by the Museum of Illusions. They have an Italian restaurant located in the hotel lobby that I didn't visit, but the menu selection looks wonderful. The muffins provided for breakfast look, feel, and taste fresh baked, and the coffee is very good, which I know since I drink it black. The room is clean, aside from a few stray hairs that could have come from the cleaning lady/man. The service is outstanding, over the phone, and in person. The check out time is naturally at noon, which is delightful, and they even lock the front doors at sundown, which I assume is to keep the homeless/junkies out. After all, we are in Philly, lol. It's a decent neighborhood with a multitude of eateries and transportation in walking distance, and a map of the city with the common attractions is provided to you at the front desk.I am beyond satisfied with choosing this hotel! Now excuse me while I get more coffee and another muffin lol.Thank you so much for helping to make my birthday trip a success!!!Rooms: Clean and well designed. I love the rustic feel.Nearby activities: Liberty Bell, Museum of IllusionsSafety: They lock the front door at sundown. Ring the bell to get in.Walkability: Very. Buses and transit near by as well as taxis.Food & drinks: Features an Italian restaurant in the lobby and provides free, fresh breakfast coffee and muffins. There are also plenty of restaurants nearbyNoteworthy details: The customer service is absolutely wonderful.”

“The rooms and location are really excellent. I have no complaints there at all. The staff is really friendly, and Wister (at the front desk) went above and beyond in helping out with all our questions, bringing up our food order, looking up nearby spas.

My issue is that, for the price of their two bedroom suites (I can get an all-inclusive stay at a hotel in the Maldives for this price), they don't provide cleaning service on a daily basis. Seems a shame that they can't amend this policy. In addition, their check out time is really early (11am), and they will charge for anything an hour over the check out time.

Again, let me mention that Wister was fantastic, and made this stay a little more pleasant for us.

Rooms: Rooms and bathrooms were spacious and comfortable”

“I had an excellent stay at the Courtyard Marriott in Philadelphia Navy Yard. The service was fantastic—staff were friendly and attentive. The location is ideal, especially if you’re planning to attend Phillies or Eagles games, as it’s just a short distance from the stadiums. There was plenty of parking available, making the experience stress-free. I stayed here for work, and they were truly awesome, even offering a free shuttle to Center City every 15 minutes, which made exploring Philadelphia convenient. Overall, it’s a great spot to rest and discover the city’s attractions. Highly recommended! ❤️”

“Excellent Hotel, cleanliness and location. I loved everything, I would definitely stay here again and I will also refer it to my friends. Excellent stay and service.”

“The rooms are large, the location is superb, making the visit on foot without problem, the restaurant for breakfast offers a service of quality that is too variable and person-dependent which is a big downside for a 5 star then the welcome in general is not good. Eg we arrived at 3:30 p.m., check-in time was at 3:00 p.m. but room not ready. They offered us vouchers for this inconvenience, the color of which we never saw! not professional at all. I believe that this hotel cannot claim more than 4 stars. All the hype is just bad for travelers. The staff, although numerous, are too obsessed with we don't know what, maybe they constantly have organizational problems, that's the impression it gives in any case

Rooms: large and clean, soundproof

Nearby activities: top walks in Philadelphia

Food & drinks: breakfast sometimes in a strange climate. also, we are sometimes woken up at the end of a nap by the maid who comes to bring candy and other ultra-processed horrors stuffed with sugar to the children, what a false good idea... general feeling that emerges, of total inadequacy staff in relation to customer needs

Noteworthy details: parking concierge service, the only one that would get 10/10 from me”

“I recently had the pleasure of visiting Live! Casino in Philadelphia and was thoroughly impressed. The casino's interior design was truly stunning, with a blend of modern elegance and classic casino charm. The ambiance was lively and exciting, and the staff were incredibly friendly and attentive.

From the moment I arrived, I felt welcome and comfortable. The gaming floor was well-organized and offered a wide variety of options, from classic table games to the latest slot machines. The casino also features a variety of dining options, including casual eateries and fine dining restaurants.

Overall, my experience at Live! Casino was exceptional. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a fun and exciting night out.

Rooms: Rooms were very nice and clean

Nearby activities: Casino is great

Walkability: The area is far from other attractions”

“Great location. Relatively safe part of Philadelphia in the historical district. Surrounded by excellent restaurants. Excellent customer service. Room size and amenities better than expected.

Rooms: Relatively large rooms, compared to New York City, for example. Most with excellent views of the park across the street or historical structures. Very clean with excellent amenities.

Nearby activities: All of the important National historical sites dating back back to the declaration of independence and before. Easy drive by Uber to Sports complex for concerts or sporting events. Excellent local restaurants.

Safety: Strong security and hotel and we’re relatively safe region of Philadelphia. No concerns about walking outside either day or night.

Walkability: Located no further than several blocks from national historic sites. Safe area both day and night. Fine restaurants also with an easy walking distance.

Food and drinks: Several great restaurants around hotel, and restaurant in hotel much better than average for breakfast lunch or dinner.

Noteworthy details: Perfect location for exploration of Philadelphia historical sites.”

“First time staying here and will definitely go back since we have a family member attending UPenn. The service of all the staff (front desk, door, restaurant, housekeeping) were very friendly and helpful. The room was fantastic, very clean and neat. The furnishing is kept well with no visible damages. The "living room" is such a great idea. Overall, recommend.”

“Best possible location in walking distance from historic landmarks and sights as well as many restaurants and bars.
+ Happy hour with free wine, beer and snacks daily 5-7:30pm
+ Friendly service, well-maintained property
- Very dated window unit AC that makes a lot of noise when you try to sleep at night
- Asked housekeeping to come back later, then asked the receptionist to remind housekeeping, they never came that day
- WiFi worked fine on day 1 but failed on day 2
- Breakfast is very basic, the best part is coffee and juice

Rooms: The rooms are compact but contain all necessary amenities including iron and hairdryer. I suggest updating the AC to something modern, effective and quieter

Safety: There's 24/7 front desk attendance and they lock the front door late at night.

Walkability: Great walkable location!

Food & drinks: The afternoon social event is great but the breakfast could be improved.”

“I wish the room had been a little cleaner when I arrived. The rug needed to be vacuumed and the floor needed to be swept. Other than that my stay was very nice!

Nearby activities: Lots of fun places to visit near by.

Walkability: Close to everything

Food & drinks: Lots of stuff to do around the area!”

“We chose to stay here for 5 nights while moving cross country into our new home in Philly. We also stayed here to visit the city for our first time several months earlier. Can’t say enough good things about the staff from the valet Edwin congratulating my husband on his new job so warmly on our first visit, the breakfast restaurant staff for being friendly and accommodating, the kind housekeeper Gjyzepina being flexible with our schedules to freshen the room, and the wonderful valet Jamille being friendly and welcoming each day, and along with another great valet Adam, helping Tetris-load my car with the many, many bags we had. We legitimately felt so excited to move to Philly because of the kind people we met here during our first stay and now second, too. The service here is top notch - would highly recommend!”

“I chose this hotel because it is conveniently located for single travelers within walking distance of major sights and the metro (very near the SEPTA line to the airport). The area felt safe to me, an older woman, but there is a lot of street noise well into the night which I could hear even being on the 25th floor, which is not the hotel's fault, just the location. The hotel is very, very clean and well-designed, although the "eco" thing seems more marketing than real--lots of paper and plastic in the dining area and room, pre-packaged this and that. Staff is professional, but a bit chillier than I found people in Philadelphia to be. This is above the price point I generally spend for hotels, and while I have no complaints, there was nothing special that justified the price or made me loyal to this particular hotel or brand.Safety: I felt safe as a senior woman, traveling solo, walking everywhere. I did not walk around at night, so I cannot speak to that.Walkability: Great location to walk to Reading Terminal, Love Park, all the historic park sites, art museums. Lots of signage to places of interest.”

“This is a conveniently located hotel in Philadelphia however it is a large and very busy hotel in a city. The lobby although nice had the hustle and bustle of a train station. It could have been that it was local universities' graduation weekend. Rooms and restaurants are decent. Just note that there is a lot of restaurant choices around the property. A shout out and thank you to MANIT, the Front Desk Manager. He went out of his way to ensure that we were happy with our check in and stay at the Philadelphia Marriott Downtown.”

“The room was fine for the price. I liked the hotel. However within an hour and a half I saw one attempted mugging right outside, that no one seemed to react to except when I yelled HEY from across the street. Then everyone walked away like nothing happened. Then another guy I saw from the hotel window "pretend" to throw a punch at a woman. Again no one did anything. Both were Asian victims. I'd be careful if you are.”

“A great place to stay when in Philly. Very nice accommodations with access to dining and conveniently located in downtown Philly. A great business center to office from while lodging and the building has a lot of history.”

“Didn’t stay here, but I’m a local so just got a drink after work on Monday, 5/20. The building is gorgeous and super fancy (at least for me bc I live in Philly, don’t be pretentious yall). Our bartender, Jessica was lovely, had all the right suggestions and amazing patience for my picky friends. I ordered the fireside lit, at first, a mezcal cocktail with Campari and blood orange, it was 10/10. Then my friend had her create a drink with specific requirements so I asked for one too and Omggggg idk what it was I just know the base was drumshanbo gin and raspberry liqueur from st George, I’m not going to lie it was probably one of the best cocktails (especially gin based) that I have ever had in my life. I’m usually picky but will drink what I get but I had absolutely no comments about this drink it was perfect, should be added to the menu. Jessica is magic and great for this bar. Cant express how amazing it was!!! Also enjoy that all the specialty cocktails start with a good spirit rather than low shelf! The bathrooms are also so boujee side note, if you’re outta town and this is what you get… idk how you’re unhappy, check yourself.”

“I gave it 5 stars because I had a wonderful, quick stay here recently. Its a standard hotel so have the right expectations. Location was great for us (Philly is surprisingly awesome!), and parking garage on-site made everything very easy. Staff was great and rooms were clean and comfy. Cant ask for more than that.”

“In my opinion this hotel is in a pretty good location. I think it's a really good option for families simply because of how much space you get in the suites, but it's definitely far from luxury. The staff is extremely friendly and you're relatively close to most of the main attractions towards Center City. My only real gripe is what the condition of the room (708). The furniture was pretty rag tag and beat up thoroughly. Paint was peeling. The place just needs a major refresh best I can tell, although the common spaces are kept very nicely. Would we go back probably but certainly not at the rate we paid”

“I love this hotel and location. I have stayed here before and the service was equally amazing. The breakfast is great and the attendant kept restocking and cleaning. The breakfast area stayed full the entire breakfast period. The rooms were cleaned and comfortable. This hotel is only 1.5 miles from the Airport and 1.5 miles from the John Heinz Wild Animal Refuge. It is close to the freeway and provides easy access to I-95 and I-495. I highly recommend this hotel.Nearby activities: John Heinz Wild Animal Refuge was only 1.5 miles. I visited it twice and was able to photograph many birds and turtles.”
