Absolutely horrible. They are incredibly nonchalant over forcing you to incur significant fees and penalties for their failing to get around to preparing your tax returns in a timely manner, they have 3 different preparers say 3 different things as to the substance of what's to be included in the returns, their fees are way above market rate, and Bill obstinately refuses to respond directly (let alone coherently) to straightforward questions concerning your returns. On top of that, they'll charge you $50.00 just to return your own tax documents, as well as be extraordinarily difficult about providing a simple answer regarding tax liabilities they go out of their way to ensure you incur just to ratchet up their fees. Do not use.

I saw all of these good reviews for this firm and was very excited to talk to this guy and get some answers to my questions. First off, he was rudely questioning all of concerns in an unhelpful way. Then he basically said that there's nothing he can do for me and is too busy with his other clients. All of this was said in a very belittling ton of voice. Clearly, he will not take an interest in you if you aren't a high enough class that's worthy of his time.

Terrible service. Took over a month to file my taxes. He filed my taxes incorrectly twice. When I received a form from the state that the filing was incorrect he told ME I had to go online to fix it. I did not pay an accountant for me to fix his mistakes. I never received my federal refund as there is STILL a problem with my taxes. I have reached out a few times about this issue and have received no response. Do not use this service.

Went to Holtzman recently to help me decipher a letter I received from the Phila Revenue Dept, and also to help clean up a mess from my previous accountant. Bill was able to identify what the issues were immediately and set me in the right direction. I plan to return to Holtzman to have my taxes taken care of!

Avoid this place. Unprofessional and disrespectful. Juggled between other clients, phone calls, and multiple advisors for over an hour. Never felt like either Holtzman or his assistants were actually paying attention to handling my taxes properly, and I was treated with disdain and disrespect every time I asked a tax question, most of which questions garnered unhelpful, judgmental, or simply “I don't know†answers.

My husband and I had somewhat complicated taxes when we went to Bill. On top of that, we had outstanding BIR/NPT taxes from previous years due to an accountant who didn't do his job. Bill was able to help us get everything straightened out.....all while we were in the process of moving to Texas! We can't thank and recommend Bill enough to anyone, whether you're in state or not. He has a web portal for documents that makes securely transferring information super easy. He is up to date on all the latest tax code and is just a lovely person with whom to do business. Thank you, Bill!

Second all the other glowing reviews. Holtzman & Associates are the best led by Bill Holtzman. Terrific forensic accountant. Knows what to do and takes care of you throughout the process--advising above and beyond. My taxes got to point (complicationwise) where I could no longer do myself, and best thing I did for said self :) was take here.

Sensational! I went to Holtzman today and was blown away by the exceptional service. Filing my taxes as a college student was a daunting task, but the staff took their time to make sure I understood the process and provided outstanding customer service. They ensured I was granted the appropriate tax return and even consulted me financially. I will continue to use them in the future and certainly recommend to anyone seeking an affordable and reliable tax or financial service.
