This place is extremely unprofessional. They were extremely late. They broke several of my things. The guys smelled like marijuana so it makes sense of the laziness and care free attitude. We paid $640 and all they did was bring all my things into the basement. Didn't even inform me of the broken items. They also forgot several items at the old house. Save your money and time.

Two very kind men helped us move out a three bedroom apartment. They were able to let my husband take the lead and get us moved out in under 2 hours. I would definitely use them again. Thank you for all your help.

Helped my elderly dad move from his apartment! And trust me this was no easy task. I was late and changed dates and times on them so much I thought I would lose the time slot. But they worked with me and communication was EXCELLENT ?? .I can't say enough how they help out. My dad is not the easiest to work with being 74 but they got the job done. Thank you

Two excellent movers could not have made the process of loading & unloading a uhaul any easier. Saved us a ton of $$$ renting a uhaul ourselves and using their labor to help load and unload the uhaul. Highly recommend!

I used Helping Hands Philly to help me with a last minute move from one apartment to another. The movers were friendly and cautious to make sure all of my belongings wee loaded and moved carefully. I would recommend this company to anyone looking for movers.

I have to report unfortunately that despite the move going well, the movers stole a gun and $700 in cash that I foolishly left in my bedside table. Since the movers aren’t real employees, the company has no liability or responsibility in the matter. If you hire this company, keep a really close eye on the movers. Beware.Addendum: nothing in their reply here changes the fact that the movers stole these items from me. Blaming me for the theft and refusing to file an insurance claim on my behalf changes nothing. Also, the detailed inventory I was promised consisted of the movers taking cursory videos of the items before moving, and did not and could not discover in any way that I had items “prohibited” by their agreement. Furthermore, putting the onus on me to prove that a theft was committed is disingenuous and dishonest. The entire purpose of insurance is to prevent exactly this sort of occurrence. Next time I will hire a company with actual employees and bonded workers. Thanks much.

I wouldn’t recommend this Company to anybody. My daughter was over charged and they had to nerve to Damage her bedroom furniture while breaking it down, said nothing. We found out once we tried to put everything back together. The Movers went over their allotted time cause they had to take WEED breaks, when we spoke to The Owner Daryl he had the audacity to ask if We were sure it was WEED! Insulted my intelligence. No type of compassion nor compensation was given to my daughter. I told him his employees Represent his Business and for That he was liable and responsible. He did and gave NOTHING. So using this company would be at your own RISK. Besides that the Weed breaks put them over the time and I had to pay $270 over the price for their overage in time. My daughter was in tears, but Momma came to her rescue. Daryl bad business and I’m reporting to the bad business bureau as well.

By far the WORST MOVING COMPANY EVERRRR if I could give ZERO stars I would!!!! I truly had the worst experience ever with this moving company! I would never in my lifetime recommend this company not even to my worst enemy! The 3 workers with the exception of 2 was not good. The first thing was they were 20 minutes late. I spoke to the owner Darryl informed me that he was happy with their arrival time. I had to go to my new place to let someone in and once I arrived back to my old place they was outside smoking weed and once they noticed it was me, they hurried inside. One of the workers dropped my box and broke my liquor bottle that I got from Jamaica.? Prior to my booking I informed the owner that I needed things needed to be broken down and assembled once it was at the new residence, he informed me that that wouldn’t be an issue. So fast forward the guys came with ZERO professional tools in fact they had to borrow my Allen wrench that I haven’t yet to get back. The brake down took forever not to mention I informed them of how are they suppose to be a professional moving company with NO professional tools. Their was only one guy that broke down my bed, while another one was standing outside the moving truck with his legs crossed on the passenger side of the vehicle on his phone. The guy that was breaking down the bed had to yell his name for help. Once I got back to my new residence to wait for the 3 1/2 hour breakdown from an 2 bedroom apartment to an house the owner called me. He informed me that I needed to pay more money because their service is almost over once i informed him of his company debacle and foolishness, he then still informed me that I needed to pay more money if not they would unload the entire truck. Darryl’s UNPROFESSIONAL behavior and smart mouth as a business owner is unacceptable and having to pay $642 to end up COMPLETELY DISSATISFIED is the worst feeling ever! They broke my bed and I’m still wishing for a response from the owner almost a week later. I wish I would’ve taken pictures of the guy’s laziness because I cannot make this up. So please people DO NOT, and I mean DO NOT EVER, EVER, EVER BOOK WITH HELPING HANDS! They actually should change their company name to NON HELPING HANDS! And must I add one guy came and moved my furniture in crocs!!!
