Beware! Someone attempted to use my credit card number to make two purchases at Grossman Furniture. Both totaling over $11,000. These guys had my info not the actual card. Why did staff allow such a big sale without card OR IDENTIFICATION? Smells very fishy. Good thing all charges are reversed.

I don't usually visit furniture stores, but Grossman is certainly one of the biggest names in town in Center City.Positives: parking available (a few near the front entrance, some at adjacent stores?), white glove deliveryCons: multiple levels (kind of like a maze), white glove delivery crew was a little upset that they were bringing a mattress to our house, adequate customer service.We came to Grossman with a primary goal in mind, to buy tempur pedic mattress. Even though we recognized there are limited deals or things that the department can offer, I would have liked a little more engagement or understanding of the tempur pedic process. While my pregnant wife was slowly trying the beds, another customer rep kept on eyeing us with hurried glances because we were delaying her customer from trying out the beds. This was unnecessary.Also they forgot to give us our pillows when we were leaving. This wasn't a big deal, but it did cause some minor issues as I had to call Grossman when the mattress were available, and they forgot about it, and the delivery people also forgot to bring it with them and had to drive back.

Don't believe the good reviews - they're written by staff and shills. Terrible experience. Told me an item was in stock so I drove all the way down there from Scranton. When I arrived they admitted it was a "mistake" but showed me something "just as good!" After calling them out on the obvious bait-and-switch they said my piece is on backorder but "the factory says it'll be here next week." Stupidly I gave this circus clown my money. Now two months later the mystery piece is still a no-show from the mystery factory. When I called for an update -- because they NEVER call me with one -- they offered to sell me something "just as good!" AVOID!!

It has been a real pleasure dealing with Grossmans. Theresa Miller has been an excellent source for inspiration and help in furnishing my new home. She is so reliable and responsive over the last few months and I look forward to working with her in the future.

I can't even begin to express how terrible it has been to work with them. We ordered a couch and recliner in January to have when I gave birth at the beginning of June and were told 14 weeks until delivery, which was longer than usual due to COVID but going with an American manufacturer would not introduce some of the delays that using one overseas would. It's September and we still don't have either. We only received proactive notifications the week they were supposed to arrive when we were told it would be another three month wait. It has been far more than that additional three months. They did provide a temporary recliner from their stock after I gave birth, but it was not a rocker which I selected as a required function of what we ordered because that's necessary for babies. We do not receive updates unless we ask, despite having asked for regular updates to be provided. When we call for updates we are frequently told "I'll check on that and get back to you" and then do not receive a call back. The recliner has theoretically been at their warehouse for a month and no attempt has been made to deliver it and we're now told the couch will ship mid/late September. I highly doubt I'll ever see either item. I'm not naive and I realize that COVID has drastically changed the supply chain which is not within their control, but for what we paid I expected exceptional customer service and have received some of the worst I've ever experienced, which has resulted in making my maternity leave with my newborn far more physically difficult than it needed to be and which I could have made alternative arrangements for if we had received any sort of regular communication. I cannot in any way recommend them.

I have purchased furniture many years ago and never disappointed with the quality and customer service, so when I decided last November to purchase a new sofa,I returned to this store.Now I did not want same old same old,so I new it was going to be more expensive than Ashley or Raymour&Flanagan but you truly get what you pay for.Kyle was our salesman and could NOT have been more helpful and really quite knowledgeable about the brands.I ended up buying a CRLaine custom made sofa with chaise in the most beautiful shade of suede grey.It took a little more than 5mos.to come but sooo worth it.I could not be happier. THANK YOU Kyle! I will definitely be back for more.

A.J. Was an excellent salesman. Helpful and patient. My apartment had just been renovated and though I loved the open concept I lost a lot of cabinet space. Gross man furniture had lots of side boards to choose from. I chose a beautiful one and it was delivered within a month! It arrived yesterday and my dishes are already in it. Thank you A.J. and Grossman!

This place is terrible. We have been waiting over 5 months for my grand daughters furniture. It was notspecial ordered. The new baby is due any minute. We need the furniture. We were promised this furniture months ago. They keep saying someone is going to call us and they never do. I wish I could cancel but it is too late. My daughter is so upset. No communitcation, just lies, no return calls. They are horrible. MANAGEMENT IF YOU READ THIS, DO SOMETHING!

Pricey? Yes, but they had some unique options for furniture. It's also a plus that they had their own parking lot (very tiny, I believe only 4 spaces, but still a bonus). Kyle was very friendly, attentive, and helpful if we had any questions. There wasn't anything that really caught my eye, but I would recommend them because of customer service and the different types of furniture options they had. Grossman does a lot of custom pieces, which I thought was awesome as well!

Grossman's has a great selection of furniture - unique and stylish. Customer service is great also. I purchased furniture from Grossman's. Delivery and setup were smooth.

A hidden furniture gem in Philadelphia. Higher end furniture at fantastic prices and no pressure sales team. Highly recommend and they will come to your home and design and measure your space. They deliver everywhere!

Just bought a bedroom set from Grossman's and am extremely happy with the quality and look of furniture we selected. Charlie was helpful and low-pressure while helping us select our furniture. The variety of furniture in the store is excellent; lots of different styles to choose from.
