I have never before or since found one that slapped that hard - could not believe those out-of-the-warming-pot meatballs and fresh sliced prov could make that magic but it did.Also tried my friend’s sandwich which was the Italian (as advertised, a true classic - hard to find them like that anywhere but the old delis now) but I was so lost in the sauce of the meatballs that it didn’t matter.Also, the guy behind the counter? So helpful, so kind, so clearly proud of the place and the product.”
“Smoked fish and caviar heaven! This adorable shop has a well-curated selection of fish, caviar, cream cheeses, rotating bagels, and adorable trinkets/gifts. The employees are super friendly and can help you pick the fish you’ll like best.
Tried the pastrami smoked salmon and one of the herrings. They were both excellent, such good quality fish and nice flavors. The rye bagel was also perfect.
Take out only, street parking all around.”

Visited this place a year or so ago with my partner’s family and again last week and it was still just as good… so much freshly cut meat, thinly sliced salad, oil, mayo and the bread just tops it off! Can’t get enough, wish they were in the UK!

“I am always in this store it is in my neighborhood like many others but to me this one stands out. This store is way cleaner than many of the other stores around here. The owners of this store are pleasant people as well as the people working in the store. They rarely make any mistakes if you order food from here but if they do they politely accept their mistake, and fix them for you. I have never experienced anyone here have a nasty attitude or anything. If anyone here is having a bad day you would never know because they don’t show it and that is rare. Five stars I love this store I come here everyday.”

From cured meats to fine cheeses and all the pantry items in between, there is nowhere better to go.Olives, shooters, seafood salad, pasta, olive oil, gourmet vinegars... this shop is an overload for the senses!From the cheeses, among the "have to try" are aged provolone, extra aged Beemster (a gouda beyond explanation), Moliterno al Tartufo, and Testun Occelli alla Grappa.Their pepperoni has no comparison! You will always get fast, friendly service when you visit.Parking can be a challenge. The sidewalk will set you back $51 bucks, but can't be beat for convenience when you're hauling out 5 or 6 bags of goods! :)”
“This is where I go food shopping. This super market is clean and has great organic food products. The food prices isn't that bad. The only thing I don't like is that they don't have shelves so that people can put their items in their bags , next to their checkout. Like SaveALot does and Lidi does. “Very spacious for a cooperatively owned natural foods co-op, and they seem to always have sales/special prices on certain produce. I love how they sell locally grown or prepared foods from local farms and germantown restaurants. Great spot, free Parking is pretty easy on Morris, halal and kosher options, There’s a few parking lot spots and some metered parking right in front. Friendly and helpful staff”

My only complaint about Trader Joe's is that I wish they were in a better location. There are other supermarkets in the downtown area and I wonder why Trader Joe's didn't move to one of those locations where they would have more space etc.”

“Great little Indonesian grocery store/ mini market that sells Indonesian food and snacks! So happy to see some food items here that I had in my childhood! Cash or venmo only! The only minus is that their fried food/fritters options vary alot from day to day. One day you get great options another day not. But overall you can find great Indonesian food options here: tempe, gorengan (bakwan), klepon/onde-onde, kue-kue, desserts, nasi bungkus and bumbu/ seasonings”

“Aside from having the essentials in stock at Overbrook Food Market, they serve hot food. The first thing I've tried is an egg and cheese sandwich on a round roll. I'm from New York and hold a high standard for these kinds of sandwiches. I have to tell you, the ones they make here are quite possibly the best...EVER. Super buttery, the cheese and eggs are nice and soft and mixed well together, and the roll tastes very fresh. I can't wait to try some home fries or grits or something with the sandwich next time!
