If you're here, you're local because parking isn't ideal here. Great employees that communicate (what's up to the guy in the deli talking sports) got deli food and schooled in eagles history from 1970s-reid Era all in less than a few minutes. In and out on one of plenty self check outs.

These complaints are ridiculous. This is by far one of the nicest grocery shopping experience in an urban setting I have had in my life. The people complaining need to go back to the suburbs to live with their Karen mothers. It is a clean store, never seen expired produce, never had to wait long at check out even with produce and the scales. To top it off its convenient and not massive, where you can just walk in and out in 15 min with your groceries. It's also reasonably priced for how expensive rent is in the area. The best part is that you can bring your dog. Keep up the great work Giant! I really appreciate your convenience and selection!

Pricey and snobbish but good enough for an emergency.

It was our first time at Giant Heirloom. There was a lot of variety. The fruit and vegetables looked fresh. The store was clean. The staff was friendly.

Staff checks your bags cause they have nothing else to do while you do their job in the self checkout and they pick their nose

Literally the worst shopping experience in existence. There are only self-checkout counters that are constantly understaffed, because you are guaranteed to need help if you dare to buy fresh produce or seasonal items. God forbid you "scan" an item, because that means you will have to wait for two minutes until someone can help you out. Where helping out means chiding you for attempting to use a self checkout machine the way it is meant to be used. Only to then be prompted again to remove the item from the bagging area, because the scale has detected a 0.1 oz difference that can only be resolved by asking for a store clerk again.Save yourself the literal hours of waiting and just go somewhere else.

This store has steadily gotten worse over past 3 years. From discontinued popular items (confirmed by their own employees) in exchange for what must be higher profit margin cheaper stuff like organic frozen veggies to NOT. “Fresh” produce rotting in the bins, expired products on shelves (3-4 weeks expired) and self check out systems that require constant assistance from staff. It’s fine for few items in a pinch but Trader Joe’s well worth the 10 minute drive from NoLibs.

I used to love going here, but now will be avoiding it whenever I can.The scales when checking out are insanely sensitive, and it takes 10+ minutes and multiple rounds of cashiers coming over to check out 2 bags worth of items, when it used to take 2 minutes.I get that they're doing this in the name of security, but its at a steep cost of the convenience of paying customers, which I think will cost more in the long run.I'd highly recommend Giant fix their scales, as I will be trying to shop elsewhere whenever I can because of this
