We should have known... When we came in.. An older couple was yelling "dont do it, dont use the geek squad or buy their useless total membership!", but we purchased the Lenovo computer there, and we were told that they would be able to fix the wide spread b1 initialize libray failed error, that appears to be rampant on that brand. So I gave them close to $200 in good faith. We were told it should b 2-3 days. Yeah right.. On the 4th, 6th and 7th day I called the number that shoots to Zimbabwe, and was told all three times that someone would have to call me back. Yeah right.. 4th call and Mehul couldnt find my paperwork. Finally kirk called and said he had just got back from vacation, so he was going to take a look at it. It struck me that it was the first time it was being looked at. Kirk called a couple days later and said it needed a new motherboard, a seemingly popular fix for that cursed model. He said he had a compatible MB in stock, and it would only be a measly additional $140. At this point I really just wanted it fixed.. as if beckoning to be gouged and or taken advantage of. Unfortunately to my chagrin, he called a couple days later to inform me that no...... Infact the new MB was not compatible. I was then told that they could not order replacement parts from their vendors... Say what?! It had been there a couple weeks, and I ascertained that I would have to take it somewhere qualified to do the repairs, but when I picked it up, it now wouldn't even turn on, so I had to take an additional ride out to get it a few days later, so they could at least repair it to the same condition I left it. I really hope that Best Buy doesn't have any good deals soon, because I honestly dont want to have to make another purchase there. Although the news was seldom good, atleast kirk was better with communication than anyone else had been. A couple of the girls, as well as Jameel, and Chris were somewhat helpful and understanding. Perhaps the least helpful were a few of the oh so remote phone reps, as well as the manager louenel or something. I got the impression he wanted to go home

Automated phone system is worthless. I can't even talk to a rep unless I have my serial # available? I have a basic question about their services that doesn't need the serial # or even the make/model of my TV. Asking things like do you fix things not bought there. Can you come out to the house if I can't get the TV there and is there a fee for in-house work and other questions should not require my serial #. They are literally losing service because of their automated system prompts/requirements.

I ordered a new fridge $1,400 dollars. In less than two weeks the motor died and I lost all my food in the fridge and freezer. I called Best Buy to tell them the brand new fridge had died the first thing the lady says is you do not have the protection plan and they will not be covering the loss of everything in the fridge. The lady then began talking about how they do not cover anything for their faulty fridges and I mean faulty. After looking at the reviews Best Buy has implemented anti White policies and now they hiring racist who hang up on White people and try to steal innocent customers money. They are a multibillion dollar company knowingly selling faulty fridges amongst many other items. After being on the phone for over two hours to return a fridge that never worked. If you wonder where the Philadelphia cops are they sit in the front of Best Buy and give directions to customers. Yeah corporate Anti-White America. Never buy anything from Best Buy it's a total scam and Chinese junk.

Pricey. Limited selection. Slow service. Low class clientele. But nice store and neighborhood. Great parking. I usually buy expensive items online from other retailers to get lower prices. I come here when I need cheaper items immediately and do not mind paying a higher price as a tradeoff.

Horrible customer service. Today I ordered a surface tablet and chose the same day delivery offered at checkout. That was at 12 noon. Received none of the updates I was told to expect if something changed with the order. Every time I hit the link to my order it stated prepping for shipment, delivery today. Finally, I went online to my account and the order states no longer eligible for same day delivery. We'll try and ship in 1 to 2 days. This was 8 hours after placing the order. Still no email updating me though. Started a chat to request the order be cancelled and can't get through. Timer starts at 13 minutes wait time.... then 10 minutes... then jumped back to 12 minutes.... This isn't Christmas time its June!! Poor customer order handling and poor customer service from their online unit. I'm afraid Best Buy is going down the tubes.

Received an Insignia Air Fryer as a Gift. It was recalled before I used. Sent the product back to Best Buy Headquarters in December. No refund Yet! Typical Retailer Response - "We're Sorry" Another Revenue Center like many others. Give me the Money and Croak.

I made an appointment here to have my phone fixed , he said he didn’t have the parts , and he would have to order the parts , but I would have to leave my phone there !! There’s no way I can go without my phone !! I have apple care but the problem was minor so they sent me to Best Buy !!! It was a waste of time ! Now I have to go to Apple Store ! I understand leaving the phone so no more damaged is caused but people need there phones , and you fill out a form description the issue so they should have known they couldn’t fix it ! I was upset and now have to wait for an apple appointment!!
