Food took too long to come out. When it did the order was wrong.. sent it back and it was wrong again. I just had them remove from ticket. Nothing worse than leaving a restaurant hungry after waiting for so long. Very Disappointing.

Service was excellent. Food was outstanding. Drinks were a little pricey. I ordered a regular margarita and there was $3 surcharge on it. For what? I didn't order special tequila.

We moved to the area last year and J. Theodore has become a staple Friday dinner place for us. The staff is amazingly friendly and the food is great and consistent. Highly recommend. Great for both meeting up with family and friends or a business dinner.

Server was fantastic! Didn't bother us, but kept drinks and food coming as needed. Made sure we were tended to and gave suggestions on food, drink and treats at the end. Great food and atmosphere as well.

Wow! Their music is super, super, loud! You have to scream to talk to the person next to you! I will never go back to this place to eat with that super loud music. It is supposed to be a relaxing weekend and enjoy the brunch, but the loud music makes you rush to finish the food so you can get out the place right away:

Our table was ready even before our reservation and I received a text alert. Nick was our waiter in the dining area and he was great; offered suggestions, friendly, and provided exceptional service. Everyone loved their meals; mussels, 2 Cobb Salads (one with chicken, one with shrimp) and my delicious salmon with amazing avocado risotto. This is one of my favorite restaurants in the DFW area.

Server was attentive but not a great communicator regarding menu and suggestions. Ordered an appetizer but he forgot. I reminded him once main entrees came. He then brought the app later and didn't offer any comp on that item. The overall bill was a bit pricy but the food was good/not great esp with the price/value.

they first tried to seat us at the second little round table from the door. no. showed us the wine cellar or library ? it was dark as a dungeon! no way we're eating in there. besides... The smell! candle? Don't know what it was, but it was awful. Went back to sit at the second little round table. that smell permeated in this area too. the menu is odd and overpriced. the shrimp cocktail was very good. The Mojito had barely a drop of rum and was $18. Manhattan not served as ordered: on the rocks. Not enough dressing for the Cobb salad. Chicken Paillard was good. just not our cup of tea. won't be back.

It was my birthday and decided to go to J Theadore instead of Three Forks. I made a reservation and requested a booth but when we arrived, I was told I could not have a booth. We were seated in a booth and was told we needed to be out in 1 out they had other gest that will be needing the booth. We ordered the Tomahawk pork chop, and it was dry and the cake I ordered the old and dry as well. i have been going to that restaurant since it opened as Bonnie Ruth but after this experience I won't go back.

J. Theodore was on my restaurant list. We invited friends up from Dallas and enjoyed our evening. The food was very good and atmosphere was perfect. The servers was especially nice. We'll try the music venue next time. We'll be back.

This is our family's new favorite go-to in Frisco! The menu is extensive with various options, and everything we've had has been outstanding! I highly recommend brunch, as well.

From the time I stepped foot in the door to the time I ordered food and paid. The hostess, the servers made it very clear I & my group of ladies were clearly an inconvenience to interact with for no apparent reason. The hostess acted physically huffed and placed her hand on her hip to let me know she did not want to simply show me (&group of ladies) to our table. Beyond that, our server was acting all put out that she had to wait our table. Jokingly, I said to my friends, we would have had so much better service and feel appreciated if we were to go to In & Out or Chik fil A next time. We will Not being going back.

We learned a lesson with this one. If you dine here as a couple, be sure to call the restaurant and request a booth in the back of the restaurant. If not, Open Table reservations default to the front section with a group of small round tables for two. Even though I made a note on our reservation that we were celebrating an anniversary, the restaurant did not make an effort to give us a nicer table in the back. The food and drinks were good, but over priced for what we got. We did, however, enjoy the adjoining Speakeasy and it's live music.

The menu and prices posted on the OpenTable menu were in some cases more than double on the menu presented to dine. I stepped away from the table for a few minutes and when I returned the sunglasses that I had left on the ledge were gone. The table had been cleared while I was away. When the hostess went to the staff that had serviced the table nobody knew where they were. Disappointed for more than one reason.

Tuesday lunch crowd was nonexistent, but warm, inviting atmosphere. Server was courteous and checked in with us appropriately. She did disappear for awhile at the end of our time (and there was only one other party in the restaurant) when we needed to pay the check and get moving. Food was generally delicious. One major oversight from the kitchen was not understanding the request for no oils to be used for a side of green beans (for dietary reasons); they were delivered in a puddle of butter instead - which wasn't “oil” but essentially ignored the essence of the request.
