So this was the first time that I was in the store. The aroma in the store was relaxing and inviting. The displays were super nice and it just overall was a wonderful and great experience. Winnie helped me tremendously.
I had a wonderful experience it was worth every penny and believe me I spent a few pennies. If you haven't been here do yourself a favor and check in, they're sure to have something that you would like. Their scents are amazing & the customer was stellar. The atmosphere overall was very enjoyable. I will definitely be returning and I would definitely recommend Free People?

Such a terrible experience today. I had purchased a sweater at another location and it still has the tag on it, but it was bought with stains that I did not initial see. I’m visiting from out of town and needed this sweater for an event tonight and wanted to do a simple exchange for the same one. I had my license, debit card, bank statement, everything but the receipt. One of the employees was nice enough to try and contact my home store, but still keep saying they were unable to do anything for me. They made me feel as if I had stole this top and said my tag did not even match the item I was bringing in. Being profiled as someone who “stole” this sweater was insane to me l. I called my home store after this and they said they’ll exchange it for me and apologized for the experience I had at this location. For the amount of money spent and being profiled for a simple exchange was laughable.

Free people is always the place I go when I'm having a bad day and I need a little pick me up. The staff at walnut is always very polite, and very helpful. I never feel like they're aggressively trying to make a sale, but always willing to help including offering to go get sizes or order me a size in something. Which I really appreciate as I've lost a lot of weight recently due to stress & often find gorgeous pieces there that I swim in because I'm so tiny now. Anyway the real reason I'm writing this review is in hopes someone high in the company reads this. Today I witnessed a woman repeatedly berate an employee named Wyatt (unsure of Wyatt's pronouns so I will use they them) anyway this woman was condescending and relentless because she was unhappy she wasn't allowed to buy a mismatch set ! While it took a lot of me to not verbally demolish this woman I could only imagine how Wyatt felt. I only chose not to because I didn't want to be ban from what is my usually peaceful happy place. However from an outsiders perspective you would never know if Wyatt was upset , they maintained their peaceful polite composure through and through. I'm sure a compliment from a stranger even a hot mess like me is nice, but it doesn't pay the bills. I hope that if Wyatt is up for a bonus or a raise that they are granted it. I love the whole staff but definitely want someone to acknowledge & reward Wyatt. :) thanks always free people

I LOVE LOVE LOVE this clothing line. It's not cheap but it's what I enjoy and feel best wearing. Each store is hit or miss with the employees. I had a good experience here!

Trendy clothing shop in Philadelphia offering a variety of clothing options. The staff at this location were very friendly and the store decor was very nice. My daughters really like this place!

(5 STARS) I had to return an online Free People website purchase that didn't work out. It was a FP *online only* item. Decided to stop into the Center City (Phila, PA) location since it's more environmentally responsible, no additional packaging waste. The store is wonderfully located in CC but parking was challenging since it was a weekend. Upon arrival to the store I noticed the lovely open layout and care of store merchandising from the overall to finer details. It seemed kept immaculately organized especially since it was the high traffic weekend! I fumbled with my phone to access my info as one of the lovely staff members oversaw but graciously held back in wait. She greeted me with the class of Tiffany's yet the relaxed feel of FP. As we bantered a bit, I also was given add'l info on FP locales. My transaction was professional, VERY efficient, quick and friendly. I was surprised how smooth the transaction occurred. I wish I knew her name she deserves to be noticed (HQ can check registers Sat 7/17/21 around 6:50 pm). Highly recommend! If you're in the area stop by, you never know what you might find here even though it's a more moderate size store they have a lot of merchandise. I definitely prefer to shop their stores to support retail and the brand. I can't wait to come back to this store when I have time to do some actual shopping! Thank you for your professionalism.

Love this store and what it stands for! The clothes are beautiful and definitely affordable! Their price is worth it for the quality of clothes! The stylists are super friendly as well. Always look forward to shopping at this location.
