How are you going to have self checkouts that you don’t let customers use. This is the most backwards, asinine thing I have ever seen. Someone please gather up your brain cells and either put cash registers with associates in the store or let your customers use the self check out. Ridiculously stupid.

First time shopping here, purchasing 1 item; cashier decides not to give the change back after handing her a 100$ bill. Call the store next morning after going to make a deposit but was short the original amount I was depositing. Courtney, sweet girl advised n viewed video. However. The fail was the focus was on me n not how the cashier handled the money. I will admit I had taken an important call during my time at the register, which distracted my attention. Cashier I did not get her name. Rung the transaction as though I provided exact change. This may be a caution to everyone especially during the holiday sEason.100$ change should of been 95$ back. She tries grabbing the stack I had. Which in tu4n advised to grab the bill. Placinf on counter n patting while smoothing it on the counter, playful motion. I didnt think of it. Handed her the cents She rings it up n hands the receipt. Though distracted you're in the retail business. Be Honest, especially if the customer is distracted. Don't be mischievous n deviant to steal my hard earned money for your greed. WATCH YOUR EMPLOYEES MORE SO THAN CUSTOMERS. THEY HAVE MORE TEMPTATIONS. $$$$

So I visited the 03036 location on Saturday evening with my children. I decided to treat them for helping so much around the house and getting good grades. Everything is fine until we go to checkout. This Hispanic cashier just like myself comes up and says my manager asked me to help you I'm grateful at first because I had a long day he then tells me sorry we are having a lot of theft at this location so I have to ring you up so I understand and I didn't say nothing else. I started looking around me and I noticed there is other people completely around me that are not hispanic and are not being checked out by a cashier so that I look at him and I ask him. Is there a specific reason why you're ringing me up and he just replies? I just have to ring you up and my manager is staring at me to make sure that I got it done. I don't say nothing and then my children start to ask me if something was wrong. I just told them noDon't worry about it. And I don't say nothing and I'm at the point I starting to be a little embarrassed because I see the manager which is his white guy staring at me as well as people around me mind you there's a white couple next to me pulling out different merchandise from around their stroller but they still don't have to be checked out like I do. As soon as we're done paying I look up because I was going to go address the manager. He literally takes off as fast as he could towards the back so I told the kid. I just want to let you know and let your manager know. I appreciate the $104.00 embarrassment. Thank you. I will not be back at this location. I felt like I was being stereotyped and for one reason or another why he chose to do what he did wasn't completely embarrassing and I really hope that they learned how to treat their customers because I understand that there's a lot of theft going on in this world but not to the extent where you just start assuming people are just stealing and then when you're proved wrong you do not even have the decency to apologize. Instead you run off like a little coward

I visited store 04031 Lees Summit Mo and it was the worst experience I’ve had in a long time. To start there are at least 8 self check out lines but they were all closed and 1 staff person was check people out even putting us on hold to answer the phone and hold long conversations while there is a long line waiting to check out. Then my son and I were having a conversation on how there are thing in the store that are above $5, as began to respond to my son she chimes and and says all things change and I’m sorry you don’t know that! When I asked her why all of the self check outs are closed she tells me to “visit the website with any concerns or complaints she has no control and it detrimental to her health to be asked the same questions all day” as she basically tosses my bags at me. I’m sure when the company says is to WOW the customer they didn’t intend for it to be in this manner. I won’t be back.

I understand about self check outs, a I see a lot using them, but I don't work for free.With that being said, I was just at the Fairview Heights, Illinois location. There was a lady in front of me and we both had to wait for a self check out to open up. When it was my turn, I went to the cashier only to be told "I don't check out unless I have to when backed up.Absolutely not true because she didn't offer to help the lady in front of me or myself while we were waiting. I will never ho back.

I just l want to tell you that the customer service guy received today, 4/8/2023, at your 5 below store in Bel Air, MD, Nottingham, MD and Towson, MD was exceptional. My son had taken a photo of a Transformer Sword at the Bel Air store back in February. He earned $5 and we took him back so he could get it but you were out. We asked a manager to see if by chance we missed it and she said she would look in the back. You guys were pretty busy but she still took time to go look. Unfortunately it was not there. I then called the store in Towson and they went and looked as well but not luck. I the. Called the Nottingham store and they found it! They held the item and waited for me to take the 30 minute drive to the store. The manager was so helpful and made sure she had the exact item. The care and attention that each store took to look for this random sword my son saw months ago was beyond exceptional and not at all what I would have expected. You all have some great staff at these stores.

The Wadsworth ohio store is loosing good employees because their head managers ,Gm and district managers don't care about the well being of their employees , there health or personal lives, some are forced to work when sick and have elements.Corporate needs to do somthing about these woman who are taking advantage of there workers.

Bryan in the Westbury New York store who is the manager refused to leave the front of the store after customer was directed two times to the possible location of product desired and was unable to find it …he created a scene within the store kept telling the customer to go home and take a picture of the product she desired… for 10 minutes he just kept repeating the same thing and without any line or other customer waiting to be served he refused to look up the product in the computer to see if it was still in inventory and demanded the customer go look for her self a third time ….

Shameful after committing. to community based internships. for disabled student backing out mid way without explanation. Truly discrimination for these students ! I will boycott. this store. and encourage other. to do so as their. actions against disabled students.
