Great community gym. It has everything you need and is great value. The staff are super friendly too, highly recommended.

I came in to try the gym for the first time. I had to pay $15 and sign a waiver. I came for the machines, sauna, and pool access. The bathroom was really dirty and smelled. It was also difficult to change into my gym clothes (came straight from work) because the floors were wet presumably from people going back and forth from the pool. No water, you need to bring your own lock to use a locker, no wipes to wipe down the machine after use but there was a spray and paper towels, and lastly, parking was minimal.

Only the BEST health/fitness center around- with the BEST gym around and the BEST Latin dance academy in the Greater Philadelphia Area: Controla Dance Academy. Fitness Works is convenient, affordable, and has so many awesome amenities. It’s a one stop shop for anyone looking to improve their physical & mental health. Definitely recommend. ? ????

I'm a member at this gym and have been for about 3 years. I love coming here! The staff is wonderful, the membership is affordable and I love that they have a pool.

This place is gas pack (very great) - very fire gym, with tons of equipment and good spacing so it seems like it won't end up feeling too crowded. They've got deadlift platforms, and lots of hammer strength equipment. Can't believe I didn't choose this place first!

My wife and I were called to Philadelphia for our first grandchild and to help my daughter, the soon to be the mother. I had had back surgery and was still recovering. I needed a place to loosen my lower back. There was a pool at Fitness works and I stopped by to see what the story was. We were greeted by "Daren" (my memory slipped) who gave us the tour and the full story. He asked me if I needed a whole lane or something else and I said I only need a short part of the lane. He said "no problem". I walked down from my daughter's house at 8 o'clock in the morning and spent a half hour doing my exercises in the short end of the pool. I was always greeted by Chip or DeAndre. Within a week I was on a chatting level with half a dozen other members, who asked if I needed help, it was offered. Couldn't have found a better place to exercise. When I asked about periodically coming back to Philadelphia to visit my daughter and grandson. DeAndre and Chip talked about it and said we could work out an acceptable program. "All you need is a pool for maybe a week every three or four months, we can handle it." So I'm looking forward to visiting my grandson, knowing where I can get my exercise.

The gym is very good, I like it a lot but I would love for someone to speak Spanish at the reception, they don't understand me and I don't understand them.And the use of the translator is not very safeI want to know if entry to the pool or tanning chamber has any additional cost?And who can I talk to about starting a spin class?

This business makes potential employees pay up front for expensive clearances, insurance, and certifications, has them rearrange their work schedule to fit their needs, and then ghosts them, not returning emails and claiming they "got lost". This is all after assuring that they have a job after rounds of interviews in person and in-water, and after setting up their entire profile in the schedule and in their scheduling app. All after setting up their banking info to begin direct deposit payments for paychecks. Extremely unprofessional, poor communication, disorganized, and beyond hurtful behavior. Shows extreme lack of respect for experienced, qualified, and exemplary swim instructors and therefore does not bode well for their proficiency as teachers to children and families. Do not recommend.

A great, gym with friendly staff and a humble environment. It's been around for some time and you can see that but it's well maintained and they have everything you need.

The music in the gym at 6am every Tuesday is too loud. Seriously affect nearby residents. expect it to change.

Good morning, even when you are going to continue stealing my money I have already sent several emails telling me that you are not going to continue buying me because I retired in November and right now I check my account they stole 98 dollars again. I want a refund of that money, please.
