This site offers amazing farm fresh items all year long. The prices are very reasonable and the quality is top-notch. We never have any issues with getting what we need. Shalom ✝️ Maranatha ✡️

First of all - the rhubarb jam from the amish market is my crack. I think I bought 6 containers of it this summer. On 6 dif Thursdays. It is soooo good. It's pretty expensive and I eat it fast - but I keep coming back and keep buying more. You can buy rhubarb jam cheaper elsewhere - but theirs is just sooo good. The market overall is small and pricey. But it is just really convenient to where I live. I have gotten the best strawberries of my life here - and whatever I pay is worth it. I generally don't buy their veggies bc, again, too expensive. I stop in most Thursdays here due to the convenience and never leave empty handed. Important side note: they even stay open in the pouring rain as they all have tents.

They didn't have any corn by the time I arrived. Will try to get there earlier next time.

Fairmont Farmers market is getting better and better! Now we have an abundance of seasonal produce, seasonal fruit (apples, peaches and pears), organic chicken and eggs, Ursa's fantastic bread, beer, and babka and mushrooms twice a month.

It's small and utilitarian, so this is not going to provide entertainment or a place to bring your friends from out of town. Go to Reading Terminal for that. If you live in the Fairmount/Spring Garden area it's a wonderful resource for fresh veggies and fruit. The fruit guy has a great variety of apples and they are better than any you get in a grocery store. The Amish veggie stand is nice but a little pricey and I find their baked goods only so-so. The vendor that keeps me coming back is Ursa Bakery, which has the best bread in the city. Until Ursa moved in, some weeks I would forget to go to this market. Not anymore. Metropolitan Bakery is darn good but honestly, Ursa outshines it. It's pricey but worth every penny. Instead of $8 for a chicken, get the bread and have soup or a salad with it. This bread is the star of the meal. The market is now open all year, which is a plus.
