So Eugene has now altered 2 dresses for me. The first was a few years ago when he recommended adding 2 darts and dress was transformed. This time I found a dress of my dreams on final sale at a resale site and when it arrived it seemed as if it was just too much fabric for my frame. Took it in and Eugene took out some of the volume, kept the pockets and even suggested altering the neck since he could tell by my picking at it that it was not right for me. So alterations cost more than the dress but will I wear this dress now all the time? Absolutely! Did I still get a deal from what I would have paid buying the dress new? YES! Eugene and Natalie were wonderful, listened to my concerns, and gave great suggestions and now I have the perfect dress. This is what good tailoring can do. It's not cheap by any means but was done as specified and on time. I know Eugene specializes in custom clothing but he gave the same amount of care to my second hand dress. Highly recommend.

I've had multiple items altered here over a year and have always had great service and quality. They are always professional, prompt to reply, and friendly! The shop is conveniently located in Philly. I plan on using them again in the future!

Eugene may literally be the first positive tailoring experience I've had in my life. I came to him for help with my wedding suit after trying 4 or 5 other shops. He found a suit for me that looked incredible then expertly tailored it to the fit/style I wanted without compromising quality. I have never actually had a suit fit me before and it was an incredible feeling. Thank you Eugene and Natasha

Eugene is from the school of Europe where tailoring is an art. I wouldn't recommend if you have low priced items. Any tailor can do that. Eugene does meticulous work. You cannot tell that the garment has been altered. He also does custom made work and has hundreds of fine Italian fabrics for your selection. No need to worry about how it is going to come out. He is an expert. His wife is lovely and very helpful. If your clothing is an investment, Eugene is your man.

This is an exquisite tailor shop with old world attention to detail and the finest craftsmanship and attention to detail. Nothing is less than perfect, and everything is always done to the utmost satisfaction. Highly recommended, professional, and always of top workmanship. No cut corners (so to speak); only the best.This review is based on my personal experience from many years and many suits and shirts that were custom made by this shop. They are perfect every time.

I had a custom suit made and it was wonderful. Eugene and his staff are professional and reliable. Eugene made a custom suit and I am completely satisfied with the workmanship and the cost. If you want a quality product, you have to expect it pay more. My wife will only go to Eugene when she needs tailoring on her high end outfits such as her Brunello Cucinelli items. We highly recommend him to people with discerning needs.

The owners may seem chilly, but they'll warm up once you appreciate the quality workmanship and effort they give into accommodating your wishes. My first made-to-measure purchase, an unconstructed blue blazer, exceeded my expectations, and they made a few extra adjustments until I was completely satisfied. Go there if you want quality, value and a great overall experience.

I have never been more impressed by a tailor! I purchases a custom suit from Eugene and found his craftsmanship to be unmatched. The suit is high quality, high detail, and amazing materials. The fit is perfect and I could not be more satisfied. I highly recommend Eugene's tailor shop.
