Edward Steel school is horrible.I don't understand stand why the staff at the school allow the kids to stand outside in the rain or any cold weather. Miller the front desk receptionist have a smart ass mouth and never wants to help out, the lady knows nothing about her job..All she do is sit in that chair and roll around and do nothing. (If it’s not in her reach than you can forget it)...The way they handle bullying is very unprofessional. You have to write a complaint and nothing happens. Kids don't get suspended, they can careless. They set up meetings but nothing happens because a kid parent don't show. After that the whole situation get "swept under the rug" Oh don't bother to ask to speak to Dennis (the principal) he's never in the building. ( must be nice to have many days off)I talk to someone from the school board they said the reason the school is the way it is because none of the parents are complaining/ making them aware of what's going on. As long as my child have to stay at this horrible school, I'm going to make it my business to call and go to the school board.I rather not give this jungle a star.FYI Mrs Gaffney the second grade teacher is awesome. My son was in her class last year. She really cares about teaching the kids. She gave out homework every day and spelling words every week. I loved that the kids had to write a paragraph on whatever they read about during the week.Someone might be wondering why I have my child here, I'm just patiently waiting for him to get excepted somewhere else

Very unsafe environment. No security anyone can just walk in the buiding. No professional people work here. They allow anyone to volunteer. My child was bullied for the whole school year. Nothing took place. No conference no nothing. Mice, roaches, and bedbugs. No really secured area. The principal has no principles. This school needs to be closed down. I will make sure of it.

Worst school I ever had the pleasure of going to never and I mean never take your child to this school none of the staff really care about there job they could care less about or your child the principle is never there I whole is just terrible.
