I have been living here for the past six months. I highly recommend it! It's a nice neighborhood, with easy access to grocery stores.The building has great management, and perfect amenities.

This review is for Edgewater (phase) 2, as there is not currently a page up for it. It is managed by the same staff as main Edgewater. I moved to Philly from the west coast and I feel this apartment is in the perfect location. It is central enough but still has a private feel. Everywhere I want to go in the city is generally less than a 20 minute walk. Trader Joe’s is less than 10 and Giant is right next door. The entrance to the river is right next to the complex which is perfect for those that like to stay active! This apartment complex is pet friendly as well! The camaraderie with my neighbors is generally very positive and the staff host several really cute neighbor events a month (we just had a wine and cheese event this week). The amenities are superb as we have access to gyms in both buildings as well as the rooftop. The business center/coworking spaces in both buildings are very well designed with lots of areas to do work. The rooftop has one of the best views of the city, and in my opinion, is Philly’s best kept secret. There is a small dog park, fireplaces, and several bbqs on the rooftop. Aside from the wonderful amenities, this review is for the leasing office and all associated staff. They have been extremely accommodating, informative and pleasant in my moving process. Leasing brand new apartments in a new build could not have been easy with construction deadlines constantly shifting. They went above and beyond to answer all questions I had prior to move in. I am so pleasantly surprised by how much I love living here and how friendly the staff and neighbors are. Looking forward to renewing my lease here ?

I’ve lived in 4 apartments in Philly and Edgewater was by far my favorite. Great, sizable dog park and friendly staff and community. Right next to the river and beautiful flowers outside. Never any mice or bugs.The maintenance staff are the absolute best. They fixed any issues we had within 24 hrs and always friendly and happy. Special thanks to Cindy and Frank who also kept my pup happy with daily treats.Leasing staff are also very attentive.

Love it here! Building is well maintained, staff is wonderful, and there is a lovely mix of people living here. Wonderful dog community as well! Convenient to everything we need. I hope to stay here a long time.

I have lived at Edgewater a little over 4 years now and I absolutely LOVE IT! The staff is wonderful. Nancy, Cindy and Frank are GEMS, they have been so kind and this place wouldn't be the same without them. The amenities are excellent and having a pool in the new building is going to be AWESOME!!!! I am so happy to call Edgewater my home.

This review is for Edgewater II which conveniently doesn't have a review page yet.For the sake of getting to the point, I'm just going to list everything wrong with this building: Door keys don't work for both buildings (but they are supposed to)Amenities including the roof, offices, package closet and bike storage STILL aren't ready, even though residents have been in the building since JulyThe HVAC units in the apartments is INSANELY loud, good luck during summer when you won't be able to hear anything else. Also, if you rent the only apartments with a decent view you will hear non stop RTVs and dirt bikes racing up and down 696. Seriously, they do it at night and around 6AM. A building-wide power outage occurred on 9/27 causing all the elevators to shut down, fire prevention doors to close with the only accessibility between floors being the stairs, in violation of the ADA (service wasn't restored until the next day)Construction is still ongoing on the roof so if you live on the top floor and happen to work from home, you will hear drilling and banging for several hours during the day. This is expected to continue throughout October.Many residents who signed July leases had their move in dates pushed back as the building had not secured legal residency permits in time.Don't be fooled by the great reviews for Edgewater I, phase II is a disaster.

Their website says there’s tour available all day next day but it’s broken and I couldn’t book one, so the next day I walked in expecting someone to be there to at least ask about it, but the front desk was rude and told us there’s no walk-in and refused to even check with anyone in the leasing office. This apartment is managed by a company called Greystar which also manages many other building in the area, and all of them have about 3 star reviews and many complaints about charging ridiculous move out fees. I would avoid this building and other ones managed by greystar.

Everything went as planned. The agent had expected me to back for my promised meeting and she was glad I arrived. So was I. The rooms within the new building were serene, simple, and well balanced without too many luxuries blocking their true value. And the rest of the apartment staff were courteous, open, and focused as well. If I was to move into the Edgewater, this is the kind of comforting environment I need to help me relax and feel at home with.

I really love living here, however haven’t had my windows cleaned since I moved in July 2019. I am aware & fully understand that we had a pandemic the windows could not be cleaned during that time period. I really would appreciate it so much that my windows will be cleaned. When I first moved in I was told that our windows will be cleaned every year. That’s my only complaint. The staff at EDGEWATER are awesome. ? I gave EDGEWATER 4 Stars because I really want my windows cleaned?

The construction site had been very messy. Outside appearance isn't nice and construction has taken too long. Hoping driveway will be resealed, flowers replaced. The whole complex needs beautifying.

Don’t trust management when they give you a move-in date. Trust me you’ll be moving your stuff back-and-forth.
