Lease began in June, it’s now Labor Day weekend. Still no air conditioning, and thousand of bugs, a number of times, for a client. Maintenance and Dan the supervisor have done nothing at all, for weeks. It’s incredibly uncomfortable as it’s in the 80’s in the living room - not counting the bugs. Respond to that DuPont Towers.

Professional and knowledgeable staff beautifully kept by maintenance soooo clean and accessible to those with disabilities…beautifully renovated large pool area included in my rent and off street gated parking… I’m glad I chose this building

I have lived in Philadelphia all my life, in many different areas. Since moving into Dupont Towers in the early '70's, this has been the best. The location could not be better: next to the Wissahickon Creek Park, near markets, about a 15 minute drive to Center City. Public trans two blocks away to take you into town, or going the other way, to Andorra, the Metroplex and Plymouth Meeting Mall. Short walk to Manayunk. Secure entry and parking, laundry room on every floor, separate storage area. And a big pool for our hot summers. The staff are great! The in-house maintenance supervisor is exceptional: competent, helpful and just an all-round mensch. My wife and I have been fortunate to call this place home.

This building has been infested with house flies for the past few months and the problem is only getting worse. I see them everywhere; the hallways, the stairwells, the apartments. The living standards at DuPont Towers are becoming increasingly repulsive and management is either too inept or too apathetic to solve this very obvious problem.Edit:My response to the owner's response:"We are happy to help our residents but can only solve issues that are reported to us."I notified your maintenance manager Steve Johnson of the fly problem in October, so don't say I didn't inform management of the problem. I found this comment to be extremely infuriating.

The management does not care about its tenants. There is high turnover at the property level, preventing any kind of relationship with the managers. When asking for my options to not renew my lease, they were unhelpful, short, and quite frankly rude. They were not totally transparent about all of my options, and it took many emails to just get a list of all my options. They did not care I was laid off from my job, and forced me to renew my lease despite me giving them more than 60 days notice.

Best apartment community I've ever lived in to date. Modern layouts & amenities, nice size for the cost, very secure, free parking, AMAZING onsite support from maintenance and property manager. Hidden gem on Henry Ave. Only thing missing is a gym.

My experience living here was horrible. The building is very old and the renovations are just a distraction from big issues. I lived in Knightsbridge Apartments from 9/25/17 to 9/25/18. The review is very long, but if you don't feel like reading it, in short: the apartment had mice and my apartment flooded twice from pipes bursting, yet I was charged $410 for the stained carpet that was supposed to be replaced. Move-In: I arrived an hour after the office was supposed to open to get the keys and no one was there. I called and no one answered. It felt horrible being in front of my new apartment building with a rented truck full of furniture and wondering if I had to take it all back. Someone eventually showed up 2 hours later. There were issues that I thought would be fixed/cleaned between the showing and my move-in but they weren't. There was a subway sandwich in my fridge and the shower handle was installed backwards. Piping hot water comes on when you turn it to cold and vice versa. I put in a work order and it was never fixed. The shower was also very rusty so, I had to cover it with caulk so rust would stop turning the water brown. The bathroom floors were extremely dirty. I had to use a brillo pad and scrub dirt off of the tiles on move-in day. I also realized how thin the walls were on my first night when I could hear my upstairs neighbor snoring. When anyone (even a child) walks upstairs, it sounds like the ceiling is cracking on every step and it wakes me up every morning. By the third week, I had a noise complaint just because my mother came over and someone could hear us talking. December: When winter came, so did mice. I had to put in two work orders and stay home from work so that I could monitor them and point to the holes everywhere that need to be filled or they wouldn't put in any effort. When the maintenance guy arrived, he complimented me on my cleanliness and mentioned that one of my neighbors in my building had over 11 mice caught in their apartment in one day and that they may be the reason why mice are in the building. Disgusting! January - February: It got really cold and my pipes weren't insulated enough so, they burst and my apartment flooded. I was sleeping and woke up to my carpet raised up by water and my laptop submerged in water. I had large equipment in my apartment for over a week to dry the carpet instead of having it replaced. Now that I've moved out, I'm being charged $410 for the carpet. A few weeks later, the pipe burst once more so, it was flooded all over again. And since all of my furniture had to be moved into the kitchen, I wasn't able to get to the stove. I had to eat out every day for weeks. After all of this was finally over, my heat randomly stopped working and I was freezing for a week. Spring: Everything generally went well during the spring. The mice went away and my apartment stopped flooding. The only thing that happened is that I got locked out of my apartment twice and luckily, my mother had my spare key. If not, I would have had to pay $50 in cash to some random person who would come and let me in. The least they could do is add the ridiculous fee to your account. Over the summer, my air stopped working during a heat wave and no one came to fix it for a whole week. After going through all of this, I got about $400 back from a $1000 security deposit. I would never recommend this place to anybody.

Not bad place to live. Everyone was nice, the maintenance guy was always helpful and took care of all the issues. Pool was alright, needed some newer furniture but better than nothing. Our apartment was had new floor, carpet, bathrooms and appliances. Some neighbors were loud and the bathroom ceiling leaked a few times.

I currently live in this apartment and can't tell you how much I hate this apartment! The apartment overall is alright. Just way too expensive! If you pay for this amount of rental, you can find a much better location with this price range in the area. But that's not the biggest concern I have for this property! The apartment management is a pain! The property manager is lazy and not doing her job well. If you ask for something, she'll give you an attitude! It's hard to get the minimum maintenance done properly! The whole management team at this property is LAME.

This apartment is terrible. Lots of disrespectful people and onsite managing team is not responsible for any issue you reported. I don't feel safe live here. You would see different kind of people getting in and out frequently, day and night. Terrible place. I am so regret after sign up the lease.
