  This is for a bathroom project dRemodeling did for me 2 years ago. At that time, their Google profile was not visible so I could not leave a review. I see now it is back so I'm leaving this review. It's overdue, but this was my experience.
  
  I was originally looking for someone to redesign my main bathroom, and I needed a company I could trust to guide me since it was my very first one. dRemodeling pitched design and build services (which they provide separate estimates for). I was originally impressed by what appeared to be sound planning and organization in their initial proposal. I contracted them for design/materials services and decided to compare quotes when we got to the build portion.
  
  The Design process was pretty smooth and enjoyable - my designer created a beautiful design and incorporated my feedback/requests. Ordering of materials was fine - my designer kept me updated on timeline so I knew what to expect.
  
  When the materials arrived and we started building, that's when many things fell apart. I did not choose dRemodeling for build because their quote was way more expensive than other contractors I approached - nevertheless, the design/materials agreement with dRemodeling stated they would provide support on materials throughout the build. What I found was poor planning and sub-par support. In many cases, I felt I had to "plead my case" just to get them to recognize and take responsibility for their errors. Their tile estimates were significantly off for both the floor and wall even though they measured themselves. We had issues with the trim they ordered fitting on the ceiling showerhead - instead of solving the problem, they basically left it to my contractor and me to figure out. I gave my preferences for the type of vanity faucets I wanted (1 hole faucets), and the vanity they suggested ended up arriving with 3-hole faucets drilled. How did the designer not catch that before ordering and at least advise me? They also recommended a shower diverter that was incompatible with the shower fixtures they also recommended. When I pointed out the incompatibility, I had to explain in about 3 emails with annotated photos and all - instead of moving to fix the issue immediately, I was met either with denial or "no returns". For the amount of money I spent on design/materials, I expected a team that was more willing to correct the issues THEY created. This company needs to examine their approach toward customer service. I will never use them again, and I am telling those I know to steer clear.
  
  EDIT TO REVIEW ABOVE: I’d like to clarify a couple of points made in the company's response. The company had no direct knowledge of my contractor, so their claims regarding my contractor's qualifications are inaccurate. My original concerns remain focused on the errors in the materials phase and the limited support provided for those issues.

  We are BEYOND PLEASED with the remodeling of our ensuite bathroom. What we had before was functional but consisted of a small "out of the box" corner shower and a lot of dated 1990-era blue tile. What the dRemodeling team delivered was a beautifully clean, stylish and bold design with a large custom, frameless shower, accent tiles behind the vanity and special touches throughout. Getting from start to finish took about 8 weeks but it was definitely worth every penny and worth the wait. It's worth noting that the dR team was very professional and thoughtful throughout the process...always courteous and as inobtrusive as possible while protecting the surrounding staging and work areas. We're so happy that we're planning a kitchen remodel for 2025!!

  We had a poor experience this summer with dRemodeling in both communication and quality of work. I spoke with Dan, the owner, about these problems throughout the project but nothing was resolved. We would not recommend them or use them again. The only positive was that it was a complicated plumbing job and the plumber did well. We were encouraged to leave a review, so below are examples from our experience:
  
  - Project went behind by almost a month
  - Unexplained delays throughout. We had spoken to Dan to address these concerns, who then sent a daily schedule, and the team was behind again 2 days in with no explanation other than "people not showing up"
  - Received very few updates, and limited email responses when we did ask. We had 3 employees copied on the emails, including the owner, and it became disrespectful to be ignored.
  - Untruthful updates on the work (told us workers completed something that day, when in fact no workers had been there)
  - They asked for guidance about size of a soffit installation, and then they did the opposite of what we had instructed
  - They provided inaccurate expectations about moving existing hardwood. Instead of having a conversation with us, they installed their own pre-selected vinyl flooring without our approval, and then gave us a quote for more work to match it.
  - They got glue on our existing flooring that will now need to be replaced. They did not claim accountability for this, even though they took accountability for the same glue on top of the new floor they installed right next to the old flooring, and stated that it must have been already like that because their guys "would never do that, it's so stupid". They replaced the new flooring they put down but they quoted us to fix our existing flooring.
  - They installed new trim around a doorframe that was not in scope for the project. When they reinstalled the door, it was realized that the stopper was the wrong size and the door wouldnt latch, but they claimed there was nothing they could do about it.
  - They needed to come back and redo tile that they had originally placed because it was not done correctly (something I pointed out during inspection, not them)
  - They needed to re-install shelving that they installed upside down (something I pointed out during inspection, not them)
  - Separately, they installed a wire shelf upside down and told me I was wrong when I asked about it
  - They did not complete installation of a new closet shelf to quality (they claimed that the closet space they designed and built wasn't big enough to hang clothes). We signed off on it simply to end the project and get them out of our home. We will be reinstalling it ourselves.
  - We were passed around to 3 different project managers. One was extremely unresponsive, one didn't follow up as promised with sending a punch list, and the other had an attitude with us and was very hurried.

  We recently completed two full bathroom remodels and a kitchen upgrade with dRemodeling and couldn't be happier with the entire experience. From the initial consultation to the final finishes, their team was professional, courteous, and incredibly skilled.
  
  From the get-go, Julia, our designer, impressed us with her attentiveness. She took the time to truly understand our needs, style preferences, and budget. Mike, our project manager, was fantastic. He listened to our vision and kept us informed throughout the entire process. Any questions or concerns we had were addressed promptly and thoroughly.
  
  The construction team itself was top-notch. They arrived on time each day, kept the workspace clean, and always treated our home with respect. Their craftsmanship is truly exceptional – the attention to detail in the tilework, plumbing, and fixtures is outstanding.
  
  There were a few unexpected snags that arose during the project (as there often are with any renovation), but the team handled them smoothly and efficiently. They even offered solutions that improved upon the original design!
  
  The finished bathrooms and upgraded kitchen are fantastic! We couldn't have achieved this without the entire dRemodeling team's expertise and dedication. Thanks to all (Tudor, Jalol, Dawit, Antonio, Gabor,

  We recently renovated our master bathroom down to the wall studs. Everything new. The process from initial design meeting (Devin our designer was delightful!) to post construction clean up was excellent. The designer, project managers and all of the team could not have been more professional, detail oriented or pleasant. It was completed within the time frame estimated and we had no unforeseen costs along the way. A very thorough process and excellent outcome. Our expectations were exceeded.

  We had never done any kind of remodel project before and are so glad to have worked with DRemodeling for our first! We recently bought a ca. 1905 twin in Philadelphia and decided to completely gut and update the kitchen, back entry, and powder room before moving in. Being new to the area and without a lot of time on our hands, we knew we wanted one contractor to oversee the project start to finish. DRemodeling was a terrific partner every step of the way. They were easy to work with, transparent in their pricing, and communicative throughout. Special shout-out to our designer, Devin, for her knowledge and patience in guiding us through all of the decisions we had to make; to project manager Mike for keeping things on track and coordinating with other contractors who were taking care of unrelated repairs; and to the clean-up team for leaving the entire house sparkling. Can't wait to have you back to redo the upstairs bathrooms!

The team was very responsive to our requests and adapted quickly to any changes. We are very pleased with the outcome!

  Great experience from design to project completion. The team was great! Emma helped me create a design that suited the space and Mike and Dan made that design come to life. The final product exceeded my expectations. It has been about 6 months since my project wrapped up and I am loving the new space!

  A group of talented tradesman however as a result of poor management and incorrect product ordering process by Design/Sales the results and ad-hoc fixes were disappointing. The sales pitch had me meet a friendly knowledgeable project manager who was not assigned once project began. After 2 Project Managers the third missed 8 (eight) scheduled confirmed on-site appointments without notice. Very disrespectful. It took a year for dremodel due to product delays, wrong parts ordered and them accepting more work than they could manage (according to the words of the PM). No one from dRemodel management or the paid design consulting ever came on-site to review work . Major components of bathroom were incorrectly ordered. Vanity was wrong size. The Additional tile for gap from wall to vanity was not installed yet they refused return credit for cost of this tile. Design by dRemodel included all tile so that no blind could be installed on window and thus required built-in blind in windows however after waiting months the large Bathroom window was delivered incorrect size and then the replacements delivered months later was completely wrong without built-in blind and only a single pane instead of 2-panes which was standard on the other windows. If design consultant order wrong item they refused refunds. After having only baths or showering at Club for a year I was very anxious to get them out. Their solution wS white opaque window plastic (see photo). Other mistakes a professional project manager would have found and fixed were left “as-is”. It was finally explained half-way thru work while everything was disarray that my location was 45-minutes from dRemodel office and reason they did not want to travel out to visit site. Had they told truth up front I would have found an alternative.
