I always go to this dollar general to shop. But in this specific location I felt harassed by security. As soon as I walk in I was looking at the beanies near the door and the guy on the pa said everything was being monitored ok cool do your job. A Caucasian man walked in nobody said anything. But this was repeated constantly during my shopping. I felt the urge to leave the store because I was starting to feel uncomfortable. As I walk to the cashier to ring me out this time a woman on the pa made the same announcement and proceeded to ask the cashier if everything was okay. Why? Is because of my race? By being a Latina I’m automatically labeled as a thief in this store? Im a professional woman and I have no need to steal, specially from dollar general. My advice to the owner or general manager of the store is to check on the security staff and make sure they’re doing their job properly. I am almost certain the store still has losses because of theft even though they were being repetitive on the pa, that’s not how you catch people, you catch people red handed walking out the door with the items they stole. Not have shoppers urging to leave the store because their shopping experience lacked professionalism and customer satisfaction. This and other type of behavior in the workplace is what causes retail stores to close or go bankrupt because well, quite frankly, customer service is everything and if I as a customer did not have an enjoyable experience while doing my shopping I will not return to this store. And it’s this specific location I’ve had this happen to me.

LOVED ITT! I went to Dollar General Once before school to pick up a gift card and the lady that checked out for me asked me if I was alright because I was panting, DEFINITELY RECOMMENDED! Might go again!

It was ok at first I walked in with my boombox and was looking for a Halloween masks I found them but it should have been $11 because I got 2 masks thay were $5 and i got battery's there $1 so on the receipt it says my total was $11,88 even though I paid 12

Went there for door dash to pick an order for a customer and nonody would assist me then they started yelling at me saying store closed I tried to pay for what I did have and they thru me out of store its store policy they said if thats the case then Dollar General don't like money I like how they say open till 10pm some stores others say 9pm yet lil while back every one i went to was closed tite at 8pm so i gues like rite aide they make up hours as they go as well as store policy's I was polite and all and it was hard to be cause I was frustrated and starting to get angry so i just rolled out next step ima call corporate tomorrow for sure see what they say the policy's are

I'm just going to start ordering online because yikes. I didn't want to get mad in the store but it seems their new employee might be racist. I know they get robbed but that's no reason to treat customers poorly. Do better

Beware when you shop at this particular store. You will get overcharged on some items. And the worst part of it all is, that they don't want to correct the problem. Of course!! Somebody it's profiting from it. We are already getting screwed by this inflation. We don't need no sleek store owner or manager to take our hard earned money as well. Screw that! Please, pay attention to the prices, when you are getting rung up.
