Sub par customer service and questionable reporting practices. They didn’t let me know until I was on my way out the door that my dog had a pre-existing fresh wound on her leg, which required a trip to the emergency vet. Her appointment was in the morning, I still don’t understand why they didn’t just end the services and call me to come get her for medical treatment.

We’ve used doggy style for grooming our doodle for years and always had a great experience (even across different individual groomers during that timespan). They are very communicative, and always ask if we need any additional tweaks / trims when they complete grooming to ensure we are happy with the cut!

Unbelievably rude and inconsistent grooming experience. Refused to groom our 10lb blind dog who had been there several times before with no problems . Groomer wouldn’t even come out to discuss. Offered no apology .

Edit. Loved walking dogs for them. Then they went over to an automated system to schedule walks. 1. You can't choose which dog you want to walk, and 2. It schedules slots during hours when they're not open. 3. I showed up for my scheduled appointment at 8 a.m., only to find them closed, and 4. Don't try to leave them a message. Their mailbox is full. So good luck...

I have gotten my dog groomed at this location multiple times and have been EXTREMELY happy. I feel like the groomer I've had multiple times has been named Katie? Not really sure. Well unfortunately my usual groomer had a family death so the store called to reschedule my appointment- no problem, life happens. However, this was the week before Thanksgiving so that was a bummer. They squeezed me in, which I greatly appreciated, today. When I called to reschedule the kind staff offered me 25% off - amazing customer service. I usually love it here and have no complaints. I almost feel guilty writing a negative review because I've never written a positive one but I'm sure nothing will come of this anyway. In any case, I spoke with the groomer today and asked that she please not shave my dog and to leave at least a little hair. Well I sent my husband to pick him up and she did the exact opposite. They also charged us full price and did not give us the 25% off that they offered. I understand that I am not a groomer and maybe I am being a bit harsh but this is extremely disappointing. If I ever schedule with doggiestyle again it definitely will not be with the groomer he had today. I know her name but it's the holidays and I don't want to negatively affect her job.

This is what a $100+ cut gets you for a poodle. It looks sloppy, rushed, and way off from the original request for a teddy cut, especially with the hair being shaved down completely around her snout when it’s obvious with a teddy cut that that part is kept to frame the face. Tried giving both groomers a try but it’s obvious neither has any experience in giving poodles cuts nor a desire to expand their expertise. It’s weird that we are not allowed to see our dogs before we pay and tip. So far the two groomers I encountered had very little people skills and did not put me at ease bringing my puppy to them. While the convenience of having the shop nearby is great, I’ll have to look elsewhere for a better grooming experience. I try my best to upkeep my dog before her appointments, so she is never brought in with matting or filth; just disappointing she leaves the groomers looking worse than when she came in. Pricing is also inconsistent. I’ve been charged a different price on each occasion despite requesting the same service.

This is a good store for high quality dog supplies but I don't recommend their grooming services. Their quality of staff has also declined, both in helpfulness and expertise, over the last few years. My rating is an average of retail products offered (5) and everything else (2/3). While I initially thought this was a small, local business it's actually a chain, and that probably contributes to some of the problems I'll describe. When we first started going here a few years ago, the employees were very knowledgeable about the products in the store and helped us find what we needed for our dogs' dietary or minor health concerns. Over the last year we've noticed staff turnover as well as less knowledgeable staff who don't really care. The vibe has become a bit Petco while the products remain much more expensive. They don't know what they have in stock anymore or what matches your needs, they can just point you to the part of the store where you should look for it. We finally decided to try their grooming services because the prices listed online were reasonable. We made an appointment over the phone. It was a somewhat lengthy call to give all the info they ask about your dogs and to clarify the services listed on the website, as the employee didn't know what services were listed on the website nor how much they cost. A few weeks after making the appointment, we call the day before to confirm. All our pets' info that we gave on the call was in the system, but the appointment had not been entered. We were not given rescheduling options, no discount, no apology. Just told we had no appointment. We've switched to a different, local pet store. We had gradually started going elsewhere anyway, and now rarely go to Doggystyle Pets at all. It's too bad. They were great a few years ago.

I've more my star down to one I find myself going in this place for the third time and still feel the same way the customer service is very funny I say I seen this before and felt very belittled my money has valve and its seen like it doesn't at this store
