the other CVS pharmacy by me closed so I was transferred to this one. I spent 23 minutes on hold waiting to speak to a pharmacist before I decided to hang up and call my doctor to send in another request to another pharmacy. no one answered. going to a small mom and pop pharmacy is MUCH better than these big chains that don't really care.

Long lines but it's 15 minutes before lunch I'm not surprised. Moving quickly too as I wait more people arrive but like I said it's moving quickly.

Nightmare pharmacy. Doctor accidentally sent my baby’s medication here and it took several days to finally get the prescriptions over to the right pharmacy because CVS Fairmount was unresponsive and unprofessional. No one answers when you call and no one wants to do anything for you???? Make it make sense - this place should do a service to the community and just close down.

There was a guy at the front end yawning and looking at his phone. Purchased items and needed to use the bathroom but don’t allow customers to use bathroom. I thought CVS doesn’t deny customers the bathroom?

Cvs needs to hire somebody for parking duty. Lots are always full with people going across the street. No parking for customers that actually needs to go to this cvs. Been sitting out front for about 20 mins and 75% of cars parking here aren't even going in to cvs.

The Fairmount CVS Pharmacy does not do their job. I have CVS Caremark insurance card so the insurance wants me filling out at CVS. This CVS refused to fill out my prescription and said to go to the CVS on Target because they ****point blank****are not going to fill it out. I walked over to the CVS Target and William, the pharmacist, filled out my prescription with no problem. He also told me that the CVS in Fairmount labeled me as a man, which was blocking his ability to fill out the birth control prescription. It took him a while though to figure out what the problem was. Anyways so this Target CVS pharmacist William is a professional and exceptional employee. However, the employees at this Fairmount location are the worst - unprofessional, lazy, rude. It is so unfortunate that the only CVS in Fairmount / Art museum area will be the incompetent and rude one. Close down this CVS!

Worst pharmacist!! I went in to ask for some guidance on an eye infection (since it was a holiday weekend and no doctors are open). Was simply hoping for a recommendation of some eye drops or eye wash. He was so rude and had absolutely no concern or care. A pharmacist is suppose to help. He was the most miserable, rude, nasty person. There are not enough adjectives to describe the level of his ignorance. I went in on Sat. Dec 30th at 4pm. I will be changing pharmacies and never going back there. No one deserves to be treated that way, especially when asking for help.

The pharmacy legit just doesn’t answer their phone?!Tried many times to reorder my monthly prescription on the “easy to use app” to avoid waiting on hold but it kept getting cancelled so I was trying to call to see what was going on. Waited on hold for 30 minutes the other day, got fed up and tried again today and the same issue… another 30+ minutes sitting on hold. Time to switch pharmacies!

I've been going to this location for the past month, because it's convenient! Close to my apartment and has parking. I buy my some of my cosmetics and skin care products from CVS specialty when I have my rewards discount! I was at the store few days ago and purchased 4 lipsticks, moisturizer for my face and bunch of other things from this particular location! Every time I go here the cashiers asks for my phone number even though I'm a member and I have to go through the whole thing with phone number, name and email address! Every time say to the cashiers please fix this and make sure I'm registered and they say to me that I'm good to go! Today I went to this particular location Fremont Ave and wanted to return one of the 4 lipsticks that I had purchased because I had realized that I had bought the same color before not opened or anything factory sealed. First she tells it doesn't except the return! I ask why? She tells me Don't know and she calls this guy to come help and she tells me I don't think this purchase is on the receipt! I told her to look again and the guy who suppose to help her walks away with the receipt and the lipstick comes back and says yes it is the lipstick that I purchased! Duh duh! Then he does whatever he supposed to do on the computer and tells me he can't refound this particular Item! Why not I say? He tells me he doesn't know and can't do anything about it come back when the manager is here! I was like I don't understand I have my receipt and the lipstick is not even opened what the issue. He got really agitated and started telling me that he don't know and that I should come back when the manager is at the store! I told him I have to inconvenience myself to come back to the store because he doesn't know what to do! He was not happy nor was the girl at the register and she keep telling me she knows what to do not this particular Item! I'm not going to go into everything that was said and neither of these two people tried to solve the issue! And at the end I purchased a eye cream which I needed to get and she did the same thing again and asked me what my phone number was and gave me the ur not registered in the system! I told her I get emails I get my rewards all the time from CVS how is it that I'm not registered! She said she don't know and guess what I had to go through the whole what's ur number what's ur name what's ur email. I believe that these two employees either have worked to long hours and they are just overworked or they don't have the proper training to do a simple return! This is the worst customer service that I have experienced at CVS and I've been a member for over 30 years! Never will go here! Train and teach ur employees some manners as well! Going back to CVS on Broad. Might not have parking, but sure has professional employees who care for their customers. Do not shop here

This review is in response to my experience with the pharmacy. This CVS Pharmacy is a prime example of corporate pharmacies gone horribly, horribly wrong. The fact that they are administering medications to the public is terrifying. You can’t call and ask a question and you can’t ask a question while you’re there. People are incredibly miserable and unhelpful. My husband was being discharged from the hospital and needed essential medications. The doctor accidentally called the medications into our neighborhood pharmacy. Because it was Saturday, that pharmacy closed at 3:00 and we wouldn’t make it in time. We needed to get the prescription changed over to this CVS. I called them to make sure they received the prescription so that my husband was sure to have his medication. When I called, I waited 20 minutes before someone picked up and then when someone finally got on the phone, I could barely hear the person and when I asked a question the person yelled at me. Of course, when I get there to pick it up, the prescriptions are missing. He was prescribed an iron supplement and that was all they had for us. There was some kind of problem with billing and insurance for the important medication he needed. So frustrating that I couldn’t get it figured out beforehand on the phone ahead of time. We had to call the hospital and get the prescription re-sent to another pharmacy and an already stressful day was made even more stressful. Thanks for absolutely nothing CVS.

The pharmacy is absolutely terrible! There are so many problems all the time. Currently, I have been on hold for 30 minutes, and this is the third time I'm calling to try to get an issue fixed regarding my prescription. The staff is rude, and completely unhelpful. Obviously, nobody at the CVS corporate office cares but please save yourself the trouble and don't use this pharmacy. As a side note, everything in the store is under lock and key and it takes forever to make even the smallest purchase, like hand cream.

I purchased deodorant here. Had to wait for a employee to open the locked cases, that didn't happen so the security guard helped. I get home to find out the deodorant had been used....... disgusting. I don't understand how this could've happened being that it was locked behind glass. This place is a dump! Stay away!

I made a vax appt at this cvs for my boyfriend over a week ago. He came today at his appt time and waited for his shot. The pharmicist then ran his prescription insurance info thru. When asked why we input this info when we made the appt she responded that the appt system doesn't send that info to the pharmacy (which is not true bc I have gotten vax shots there). Then after 10 min of waiting the pharmacist lady told my boyfriend that his insurance doesn't cover vaccines. Which is also not true. He has a union job w great insurance and has had all vax shots covered in the past. When he mentioned that to the pharmacist she said - I guess call your insurance. I mean, shouldn't she be the person calling the insurance? I guess CVS blatantly does not want business? Weird. There is a reason why CVS stores are struggling financially - they have a broken business model where they aren't interested in having payiing customers. Their stock has fallen 60% this year. I wonder if they will ever figure out why or if this store will just close just like the other CVS in the neighborhood did.
