My mom thought she found The perfect facility to store her things. Only to get a postcard in the mail today about rent increase. wow!! Hasn’t even been eight months yet. From $127 to $150 a month. That’s insane!!

Everyone who works at this location is incredibly helpful and kind. Moving and storage is stressful, and they make it so much easier. Worth using this location just for that, even if there's one closer to you.

I want to start off by saying that I switched from one cubesmartlocation to another and had an overall good experience at the first site but not the second. The young lady Mary at the first site was very nice, she was pleasant and smiled. Keisha at the second location the complete opposite,was not friendly, somewhat rude and did not make me feel like she really wanted to help. She made me feel like I was bothering her and made me feel like I was gonna rob the place. She should not be working in Customer service with an attitude like this and I will be speaking to the higher ups !

We moved out of state and had set up our move out date with the employee working. After renting a one-way $200 moving truck, upon arrival we discovered we were locked out of the building finding out later through customer service it's due to vandalism. No contact was made to inform not only us with a scheduled move out day but potentially others who would've needed to access their unit. No email, no text or call. They just locked down the whole building and didn't tell anyone. So we had to plan to come back to Philadelphia and rent another $200 truck within a week because we were also under the deadline of having paid our last month of rent and getting our stuff out before they locked us out of our unit. We spoke to customer service who created a case for us. They were super nice and told us Serena would call us within 48 hrs. When she called she was possibly having a bad day or she's just rude in general. She informed us that corporate was offering a one day credit, which is basically $5. After letting her know the one day credit wouldn't suffice for our situation she abruptly told us to contact customer service again. Since she was showing obvious tone and lack of wanting to help we ended the conversation and called right away. The customer service agent was super nice and agreed Serena could've been more helpful and offered to put us in touch with the district manager. The district manager contacted us within 48 hrs as promised. After relaying the whole debacle he asked what would make us happy. Instead of asking for a $200 reimbursement of the 2nd rental truck we asked for a 1 month credit which isn't even close to what we paid for the whole thing considering not only the $200 for the truck itself but the cost of gas and tolls. We assumed crediting our account or refunding 1 month rent would be easy in their system. He said he would reach back out the next day. This was more than 2 weeks ago and we haven't heard anything.

Brand new facility with a competitive initial rate but don't be fooled by those good rates. They quickly change your rate without warning.We moved our stuff to this facility into a similar-sized unit from another facility that was raising rates every few months by almost 25% each time.After being here at this facility just 4mos they are doing the same thing. A rate jumps from 200 to 250 with just a postcard notice and less than a month before the new rate takes effect. SHAME

Signing up for the unit was a breeze. No complaints. It wasn't until I was out of the promo rates ended that things became a problem. I tried submitting all of the below on the feedback pack on the moveout survey but it is limited by character count. So maybe someone will see it here instead.Rates kept increasing. I understand the rate is never locked for an indefinite period of time, however the amount of each increase and the frequency at which the rate increases is not reasonable. I called and inquired about this and was basically told "it is what it is and it will continue to go up every few months". I eventually found a unit with a competitor of yours that, after the promotional period is up, 1/3 of the price I was paying.Upon my clearing out of the unit, I went down to the office to close out the unit. The door to the office was locked from inside the garage, and when the employee (who after seeing images in other reviews appears to be Keisha/Keysha) eventually opened up the door asked me "what I needed" and I advised I needed to close out the unit, I was told "not today" and she walked towards the desk and asked what my unit number was. This was 30 minutes prior to closing (5:30pm, facility closes at 6:00pm), and when I asked whey this couldn't be done today I was told "I have to close up here", as if it was my problem that I tried to conduct business during business hours. If I had shown up a 5:59 and asked for assistance, sure I could understand. But when the facility is only open until one hour after the typical work day ends, you have to expect people to need assistance during that hour.I asked about proration for the last month and was told that was not something that Cubesmart does. I should have read the agreement closer to realize this, however it wouldn't have changed the fact that I needed to close out the unit when I did as my schedule did not permit any other dates. That's nearly a month of rent down the drain. Oh well.My experience signing up for Cubesmart and even changing units was overall very pleasant. It wasn't until I inquired about the excessive rate increases and move out assistance that I was met with extreme unprofessionalism. These interactions are enough for me to not ever consider Cubesmart for future storage needs. I have both worked and trained customer service employees in my past experiences and these interactions are not how customers should be treated, especially when paying a premium for the service.

I’ve been a customer here for a year with no issues. This morning I was moving some things out and had a moving truck come to assist. The arrive at 942, at 945 the desk person comes barreling out the office shouting about not holding up traffic. There was NO ONE else in the garage. The driver is maneuvering in a tight space, no wing carefully and slowly, as she’s berating him, his partner, and me about how we aren’t the only customers. I’ve now asked her several times for some patience and understanding considering WE HAD JUST GOTTEN THERE. She continued to hold her nasty attitude and stood there tossing our useless comments til we finished parking about 2mib later. Mind you no customers had entered the garage during this time despite her fears, and despite her leaving the office unattended to chaperone us.All the while, some to find out that car parking blocking the trucks access was Keisha’s car. Keisha blamed us for not asking her to move, despite Keisha havjng run out ti yell at us and never OFFERING to move for her customers.Anyways I was going to leave my items here, but after that will be moving the remainder of my things to another company up the street. Keisha you can have all the parking spaces you desire. I hope you learn to talk to people with greater patience and the world is softer to you than you were to us today

Do not rent a space here. The desk woman Keisha is extremely rude to customers that are paying to have space there. Causing arguments, berating people. Go anywhere else so you don’t have to deal with rude people. Stay far away.

Keysha the customer service rep was helpful and extremely thorough. She showed us all the sizes and helped us with locks, how to access the unit etc. she keeps the place safe and clean too.

The lady working the desk, i’m unsure of her name, was nothing but rude to us every time we interacted with her. Our business with Cube Smart ended driving away in tears she was so rude. I’m not sure if it was just because we are younger college students that she didn’t feel the need to respect us or what but she was nothing close to hospitable. She did help with what we needed but god did we pay for it. I would rather throw away all my furniture and items than rent with this Cube Smart again.

The lady working the desk was so incredibly rude it wouldn’t be worth using this storage facility if it was free. We were only nice to her and she was nothing but rude. She refused to let us out of the facility we paid for??? Hello?? How do you have people like this working. I genuinely hope this place goes out of business because of her god awful service. I have never met someone so rude for absolutely no reason. Worst customer service I could ever even imagine.

Extremely good service from this location. I had some questions and technical issue when signing my contract and they were able to support and follow up to make sure I was paying what I should be. Also just a very smooth overview of what to expect when I arrive.
