This place is a scam she will steal your money that’s why she ask for everything in cash her son is a liar and cheat they still have my brothers body refused to release him after I told her she can have more money I found out her licenses are void and she changed the date of my brother actual death to a month before she a liar and a scam artist

This place is horrible! I don’t understand where these positive reviews are coming from. Unless it’s the staff members putting up fake reviews.First complaint! Due to the pandemic. The funeral home gave us a website called Zoom to view the service from home. Myself and 17 others were online anticipating the service.When we connected to the website, it wouldn’t connect or give us a picture of the service. There was no communication from the funeral home about what was going on or how to see the service. I had to call the funeral home, from California and complain.I shouldn’t have to have to complain to a funeral home during a funeral. I should’ve been viewing my late Grandmothers service in peace. This is extremely inappropriate.They told me to go to Facebook live to catch the rest of it.All 17 of us missed about an hour of the service by the time we connected to Facebook. Many of us were very upset.We nearly missed out on a once and a lifetime event because of you’re poor service.This is unacceptable!!!Second complaint was her appearance. I understand when love ones pass their appearance does change. But my grandmother was unrecognizable!!!It looked like the congelton funeral home made no effort to match her actual appearance. The wig she had on was nothing like her. It made her look a man.One of her children thought she was in the wrong funeral home because she didn’t even recognize her own mother.I sent the Facebook live recording to others and nobody knew who it was until I had to confirm with them. This too was unacceptable!For a home going service for a grandmother who was not only the matriarch of our entire family, but also mother and friend to her neighborhood and everyone else she knew.Everyone who has known my grandmother never had one unkind word to say about her.And she did not deserve this type of departure.Congelaton funeral home! You deserved to be sued! You need to get it together!!

I was very happy with the professionalism of the staff. They paid close attention to every detail. I can't thank them enough. I will use Congleton for all of my family's funeral services.

I can't speak for other people. However, I can speak for my personal experience. DO NOT CALL ON THIS FUNERAL HOME FOR THE HANDLING OF SUCH A SACRED EVENT. The administrative services are unprofessional; the staff is inconsiderate and RUDE. If you lose a family member during the this searing time in the world, they will add more grief. You need to have people who are caring and helpful on the climb. You don't need people who will take advantage of you. You don't need arrogant, unresponsive, and unsupportive agents. You need people who go all the way with you. I have a story to tell about my experiences with this place --and I will tell it. I am hurting and choosing them to handle my father will haunt me for the rest of my life. Stay tuned...DO NOT BELIEVE OTHERS. GO ELSEWHERE. They are horrible. They will charge you up for nothing! -- I will write a more detailed review on national sites when I am not so tired. I will share here as well. Thank you, SAJ
