I'm very particular about wallpaper and when I began searching for the perfect seamonster/maritime themed wallpaper I knew it wasn't going to be easy. Shortly after walking into Colonial Wallcoverings Paul got right to the point by interrogating me on my entire family lineage, why I'd been to Israel despite my not being Jewish and of course the ins and outs of the Tom Wait's back catalogue. After a brief 3 hours the deal was done and the elusive wallpaper for my new Philly pad was on its way. He even set me up with Gordon the Irish Wallpaper God for the install.I will never buy wallpaper from anybody other than Colonial Wallcoverings for else for the rest of my days. The owner of Colonial, Paul, is fantastic to work with, when selecting a paper for your project. We were almost overwhelmed by the number of incredible sample-books which contain so many design, pattern and color choices. Paul helped us narrow our favorites down and ultimately we love what we picked and it looks amazing installed. His sense of humor is wry, which made shopping more fun. He has a comfortable couch to sip your coffee, while you page through the pretty books. I can’t wait for an excuse to go back

Paul has by far the most artistic, modern, and worldly collection of wall coverings in the Philadelphia area. For those that want to want a unique wall covering to highlight their interiors spaces, you need to actually visit this cool place in person!

It might have been the greatest experience of my life! It was more like going to an amusement park then going to a wallpaper store. I highly recommend it to everyone, you haven't truly lived until you've visited colonial wallpaper.
