Warm friendly inviting atmosphere!! The staff is amazing at this Citizens branch, from the guard to the tellers and bankers greeting you upon entrance of the branch. Staff makes you feel like family, sitting you down to talk in the “Living-room/Family-room set up” Great location on South Street and great energy staff!!!

My mom called their line for help unlocking her card and figuring out a fraud transaction and the operator was incredibly rude. When they heard her accent, they said hang on and put on a Chinese translator without even asking her what her nationality was. We are NOT Chinese nor do we speak Chinese. The operator was condescending the whole time and just hung up on my mother after a while. If they asked what language we needed a translator for, it would have been fine. They clearly had no proper training on handling clients with a language barrier. It was infuriating to hear my mom who is a business owner be treated this way. We will be taking our business elsewhere.

My first visit to this new Citizens branch on South Street was a positive one. The guard and tellers greeted me warmly. The teller answered all my questions and thanked me for visiting. The bank is clean and comfortable with a secure 24-hour ATM access. Since this large space was vacant for years, it's a positive addition to South Street.It is close to a parking garage, Acme and Whole Foods.

They've expanded the bank to occupy the previously empty business next to Starbucks; they redid the large windows on South street. I've sat there plenty of times before both before and after it was redone as a bank. I told that to the security guard after she came out and claimed that people couldn't sit at the windows. There were no signs in the windows about this "policy". She said she was "just doing her job". I'm glad I'm not a customer at this bank.

I would give them negative stars. I went to get a new ATM card and not only was I there for 25 plus minutes and I was the ONLY CUSTOMER IN THE BANK, the 2 week old branch had a broken printer or employees that had no clue, because I couldn't get it done and they told me that my card was put on hold, BUT IT WAS NEVER EVER DONE. The holiday was that weekend and the ATM MACHINE WAS BROKEN AND I CALLED ON TUESDAY AND THEY TOLD ME THAT THEY WERE NOT AWARE, I WAS MAD BECAUSE THEY WASTED MY TIME AND WERE NOT GOING TO CHECK,, THEY START TO YELL AT ME BECAUSE I WAS GOING TO CALL. They are not acting like I or anyone else is a customer and what can they do if not the simple thing of knowing that the ATM is broken and that they are not entitled to be inappropriate even if I the customer is, but I was not. I am done with the treatment and the ways of this bank, ANY OTHER BANK IS IMPROVEMENT.

I recently moved here and opened an account with this branch. I am so happy with this bank! The staff are so courteous, professional and efficient. They are genuinely interested in my needs and customer support is always available. Best bank ever!

Very slow and unorganized - cashiers must have incentives to sell other products - numerous times I had to listen to same sales pitch while waiting in line - mind you extra minutes because of the sales effort - when it was my turn I told them "no overselling"- just want my transaction done - they were not happy because I called them out on it!

OMG DO NOT OPEN AN ACCOUNT HERE! And here's why. Came in to open a joint checking account with my husband and the initial process was horrible. Waited 45 minutes just to meet with someone and then when we finally met with her the whole process took 90-120 minutes until it was done. Then our bank cards never arrived and they had to be re-issued. And then when those came (2 weeks later) they didn't work. We came into the branch 2 more times to work these issues out with them. They froze our account twice saying we needed to bring in proof of address (which I brought in the literal first day we opened it, like wtf guys we can't open account without a utility bill so clearly you saw it on day one). I brought it in a second time and they unfroze the account. But then a few days later my debit card was declined. I was kicked out of online banking. Came in a 4th time and they assured us everything was all fixed after the account got frozen again because they needed proof of address AGAIN, like a I Utility bill lol! Guess what? It was not. Finally we come to close our account and she says the amount in our account that we will get back from what we originally deposited was not correct. They "misplaced" $200 from our savings that they can't "find". They see proof of the deposit. Don't see any withdrawal of the $200 don't see and transfer of it. We literally haven't used the account once! But yet our savings is at $0. And they CANT FIND OUR MONEY!" So yeah. Don't bank here. Go to a local credit union. Go to Philadelphia federal credit union. They are GREAT!

I got a check from a buyer on craigslist and it looked like a copied and fraudulent check... I called the issuing bank and told them about it and their only solution, as I talked with banker that said anyone I talked with would tell me the same thing, was to go to their website and sign up for the "check verification feature" and pay $5 dollars. Repeating the fraud check thing, he said that was my only solution.... I would never do business with this bank ever... Regions will and would not do this and they would be happy to report and investigate a thief stealing their customers accounts.... Boo on Citizens Bank
