The lines are ridiculous. The guy ahead of me spent about 10 minutes for a hundred dollar transaction. The other teller was fielding clumsy compliments from a customer while the line grew. The $100 transaction seemed to shut down the machine so we're down to one (as the line grows)

This is a disgrace, I walk in and there was quite a long like to be seen by a teller. As I was walking in an older lady exclaimed that she had her place in line infront of me. She did not wait in line as there was about 10 people behind me and as I was approaching the teller (mind you this lady was NOT waiting in line) the lady was screaming at me and put her hands on me (pushing me out of the way) as i was simply just trying to make a cash exchange. The security did nothing about it nor did the bank manager.

THIS REVIEW IS FOR KAREN JAMES WHO WORKS AT 1515 MARKET STREET. SHE IS ABSOLUTELY ONE OF THE MOST AMAZING PEOPLE I HAVE EVER COME ACROSS. I HAD A MAJOR PROBLEM WITH MY ACCOUNT. I CONTACTED 3 OTHER BANKS IN MY AREA TRYING TO EXPLAIN WHAT HAPPENED TO MY ACCOUNTS. NOT 1 OF THEM EVER BOTHERED TO FOLLOW UP MY CONCERN. THAT’S WHEN I TRIED MARKET STREET CITIZENS BANK. OMG, SHE WAS LIKE MY OWN LITTLE PIT BULL. SHE DIDN’T STOP WORKING ON MY PROBLEM UNTIL SHE FINALLY RESOLVED IT. KAREN, ALL I CAN SAY IS THANK YOU EVER SOOO MUCH FOR ALL YOUR HARD WORK AND RESOLVING MY PROBLEM THE WAY YOU DID. YOU ARE ONE AMAZING MANAGER AND JUST DON’T KNOW WHAT I WOULD HAVE DONE WITHOUT YOUR HELP. AGAIN, THANKS SOOOOOO MUCH FOR YOUR KINDNESS AND HELP WITH MY PROBLEM WITH YOUR BANK. SINCERELY JOJO

Would’ve given 0 star if it was possible, teller acted like she was forced to work. Disrespectful the way she talks, that’s not customer service.

My experience here was great! I worked with the lovely Margaret Testa. She was very helpful, friendly and went above and beyond to provide me the best experience. The bank looks very well managed. All other employees were nice and put together. The best citizens bank I have been to.

The isle are not wide enough and in a time like this, to me no one should be blocking the isles. The store doesn't anyone to come in without a mask. But distancing, it's hard to get people to do that.

2nd time I've come here and they were unable to complete a simple cash transaction. Thought having money was one of the purposes of a bank? Ridiculous.

Some of you are really upset with this branch of Citizens Bank. Not me, because I take a few things into consideration , before going. They are on Market Street, one of the most busiest areas in center City , Philadelphia. Therefore , I carefully choose the times , I go there. Also, I use all the services, where I can be helped . For example, if a problem occurs , I will first call the banks main number, and reach out to a customer service representative. Just because , my account was opened in one branch, does not mean , I am limited to just that bank. One problem, is that a number of years back, that bank, had more tellers, and more square footage. My understanding that retail rent became too exorbitant, the bank closed to have renovations done, and now we have what we see today, space less than half the space it had before, and fewer tellers.

Worst bank...not the branch itself although it closes every time it snows. It doesn't feel the need to stay up to date on technology either because every other bank in the world now gives you your debit card the day you open your account. Citizens still mails it to you with your pin # Every time it snows they close. Three times now, when it snowed, I had emergencies that required me to go to the branch for and every branch for miles was closed. I walked by 10 other banks that were open...in other words every single other bank in town was open BUT Citizens. AND customer service has told me WRONG information about 5 times. Go to Republic Bank or TD Banks that care about their customers.

Came into this branch to break a $20 bill into a 10 and a roll of quarters. They wanted me to provide my citizens bank debit card to perform the transaction and said that change is only supposed to be offered to customers. I kind of feel like all banks should provide change to anyone and was surprised by the attitude the staff displayed. Fortunately philly has a wealth of other quality banking options including republic bank and Philadelphia federal credit union, which id recommend over this place.
