What a pleasant experience!I was in Chestnut Hill for a lunch meeting and decided to do some shopping especially since it was a cold day and I left home without a hat.Chestnut Hill Sports "filled the bill" since I wanted a hat for one of the local sports teams. The store is well stocked and the staff members were friendly, knowledgeable and appreciated my business. Instead of just a hat, I was able to take advantage of a sale and purchased a new pair of athletic shoes!!!!But, my bottom line is how the store felt. It was an "old time", neighborhood store. I observed other customers who were talking w/the staff about their families, school, teams and everyday Life items. What a cool "throw back" to the way things used to be. With all the "over the top" negativity we are bombarded with everyday, it was HUGELY refreshing to experience being in a business establishment that took time to recognize its customers and treat each of us with RESPECT! Thank you Chestnut Hill Sports! Wishing you and your Families a Blessed and Safe Holiday Season!!!!!!!!!!

Taken aback when a visitor was interested in and wanted to purchase a sweat shirt but was told it was too expensive. That's a new one unless the sweat shirt had sentimental value and wasn't for sale by the owner.

We checked out this store while walking through CH, and definitely will be returning! They have a great selection of apparel and other merchandise, with good representation of the Philly sports teams. They also have a ton of other sports gear (cleats, lacrosse sticks, hockey sticks, etc). We picked up some Eagles Super Bowl merchandise at a really good price and the owner was kind enough to even throw in an additional item at no extra charge. Definitely recommend checking this place out!!

I visited today for football equipment and the kindest gentleman assisted me. He was nothing short of amazing! The selection was great even though I had a late start on buying the things my son needed. I'll definitely be going back.
