After refinishing our mahogany entry doors, the weather worn bright brass door hardware needed attention. Either I could get out my Brasso and buff the brass myself, or have someone help me. I sent photos to Chelsea Plating and got back a quote within a day. I sent off the hardware, including the smallest pieces I was sure would be lost, and a few weeks later got everything back looking better than expected.The price was reasonable for the effort to clean, polish, and lacquer the hardware. Now the hardware looks as good as the refinished door, and I could use the original mounting holes in the door because I re-used the original door hardware.I already identified two new projects for Chelsea. I just need to disassemble the door hardware and ship it away! I highly recommend Chelsea Plating.

Highly recommended. They did a great job repairing an antique dessert fork that belonged to my great grandmother. The estimate was spot on and getting the item back and forth to them was very smooth. No surprises at all. I will be using them again soon on a more extensive repair project.

Very happy with the entire process to correct the lean in one of my inherited, cement filled, sterling candlesticks. I sent a photo of the problem, I quickly received a response, trotted them over to Pine Street, was notified when they were ready an that's it. They look brand new and the tilt is gone! I love these candelsticks, hopefully the kids will keep them in the family:)

They re-welded a broken candelabra and repaired the threads of another. Straightened and polished them like new. First rate work!!

The service from Chelsea Plating is excellent. Prices are fair and the work is always perfect. I have used them on several occasions and never been disappointed. I recently had a client who decided to back out of some work I had Chelsea Plating quote. Chelsea Plating was quick to return the parts and remained helpful and responsive the entire time. Quoting takes time and effort, not getting the work can be extremely frustrating, but remaining professional the entire time is the sign of a phenomenal business attitude.
