My service was great! But the main reason for the review is that I saw one of the brokers (Courtney) handle a questionable customer in just the most professional manner. Amazing.

Chase charges $3 each for over 3 non-Chase ATM transactions each month. The Chase branch at 17th and Walnut has 1 ATM machine. I've only stopped by that branch twice in the past month but each time, that ATM machine wasn't working. If Chase is going to charge a ridiculous $3 for non-Chase ATM transactions (in addition to what the ATM host charges), you would think they would at least keep their ATMs working, maybe even put 2 such machines in the after-hours accessible area of the bank.Worse, I checked my Android assistant for the next closest Chase branch and got 1625 Chestnut Street. That turns out to have been a simple ATM in the food court area, but it also turns out that Chase removed that machine some time ago. Uh Chase, could you update your public information? Raking in $3 charges for retrieving my money from your machines (when possible), you would think the bank could afford such luxuries to keep their public info up to date. Maybe Chase can even afford a second ATM in the branch. It's in the heart of Center City here, not out in the sticks.

Staffing issues. No one should ever have to wait 30 minutes to withdraw cash from a teller. Create a better process because this isn't it.

They’re very disorganized. When you enter there is no one to greet you and all the customers are just waiting in no particular order. They don’t have a line or an organization system.

The staff at this branch were awesome. Chase as a bank was so terrible that I ran back to Wells Fargo. To be honest, I shouldn't have allowed my friends to convince me to switch from Wells Fargo to Chase, especially, since I never experienced any issues with Wells Fargo.

rude and discriminatory. The agent's demeanor changed within seconds the moment I said that I needed help with a closed account. I was treated like trash from that moment on. By contrast, I went to the Grays Ferry branch a few days later and the staff there were polite and went the extra mile to help a former customer.

Hey ,Good dayWhen I visited the branch it's visible small yet open roof and warm greetings. Kamal was my bank teller and I had a blast very funny guy , gets you into the atmosphere if you doing business or just casually it's good to be friendly and spread positive joy , he help me with very technical aspects of the Chase App opening accounts and other products in a split second with no errors as I doubled check as I sat home , I do recommend as a business banking and products technologically ahead with the curve they will see eye to eye , give a call to see what you can do ahead to save time in branch they will work with you and for you

When your card is stolen, they affect your credit score. Unwilling to work with customers.

In general they are extremely polite one manner. However ATM hours are ridiculous that's why I'm getting them four stars

I would give this 0 stars if I could. I opened a business checking account here. I opened it with a promo code that was sent to me. The banker took over 1.5 hours to open the account, constantly was asking me where I was incorporated, also personal questions that I asked him to stop asking about (related to my job/how I got into it, and rando stories about his family). I don't know what part of "I'm a sole proprietor and not a corporation" he didn't understand. I already had a business credit card with Chase. I had a promo code to open the account. He physically took my phone to look at it and make sure it was entered. Today I found out he never entered it and I won't get the bonus. Also he refused to take my deposit check when I was literally AT. THE. BANK, saying it wasn't possible to deposit it there and "why can't you just do it on the app".
I'm sorry, what? Additionally he kept calling me a couple times weekly for about a month after, to "check up on me". I asked him on numerous occasions to stop calling me (I didn't pick up all the calls). I am filing a complaint with the CFPB.

Great bank and good home loan rates. My parents took a home loan from chase bank last month. it was nice gesture by them to suggest some good points on loan papers. I love banking with them. always a customer for them! good rates

ATM is inaccessible — the “card reader” which provides access to the entrance area w/ the ATM does not work and did not work several months ago either when I first wasted my time driving to this branch explicitly to use its ATM which according to a review (albeit one left ~3 yrs ago) of this branch is a “24 hr ATM” - given it requires a valid Chase card to enter the area w/ the ATM and Chase Bank’s website does not mention any “hours of operation” for the ATM, despite Google Maps listing for the ATM which exists separate from this listing for the branch and says the ATM is “open” until 8:00 PM (especially given the fact any user can suggest “edits” for the hours of operation), I believe it is reasonable to assume the card reader which is meant to provide access to the ATM outside branch hours is and has been broken for far too long a period of time. I know it is not my card b/c in addition to my card working w/ the exact same access point machines at other locations I have seen another person also be locked out from accessing their money & the reader also would not work with my phone’s NFC function which it is designed to do if in operation. Perhaps no one has complained but that would mean it’s been months without any staff checking its functionality as part of standard maintenance. No matter what the reason, Pierpont would be embarrassed of what his House has now become… even if it is at-only one room in one wing of said multi-winged-business a House.I called Chase to offer the free business consulting they apparently need… but like every other time I’ve had reason to call and can remember doing so, they don’t even have a useless overseas call center to allascate people other than me whom may not realize they’re wasting their time talking to someone outside the US. Perhaps it best not to employ those useless call centers which are often the source of consumer data used for fraud, but I would prefer a bank which would accept a free consultant’s help at any time rather than waste even more of it by requiring me to enter my account number before their automated phone system is capable of telling me no one is at work to accept the free assistance. I don’t plan to call again so hope others see this review & may save their time & monies from the wastage the expectations of any reasonable person will inherently lead to in light of the negligence I believe is now gross given how many months the thing has now not worked for, which I believe is also reasonable to assume given the unlikelihood I showed up on two occasions many mo the apart when the reader happened to have stopped working shortly thereto.I feel for Pierpont for real; dude was a G who built an empire upon which our economy was able to stand up, and now incompetent fools & are destroying that societal wealth despite Jamie’s best effort. If anyone at JPM reads this please reach out to reimburse my wasted expenses & compensate me for the few minutes I was compelled to spend attempting to assist your other clients with this review given its necessary nature’s root in the retail banking division’s negligence. I supported your firm during the SE Asian Balance of Payments crisis for the first time & have done so multiple times since… so y’all already owe me from a simple moral perspective re what’s right & what’s wrong. Sorry to consume your automated phone system’s bandwidth attempting to provide the free business consultant your multi-Billion USD global parent money-center somehow needs from a middle-aged snowboarder who’s most recent “finance” education not self-taught was 10th grade “Economics” — damn poor Pierpont… y’all should be ashamed.

Great experience. The customer service here has always been great. I've always been able to go in an speak to a customer relations staff member and have all my questions answered. The self-service kiosks are always accessible even when the branch is closed.
