My wife’s uncle lost his life on the Dorchester so seeing this memorial and finding his name had a very similar affect on me as the Vietnam wall in DC.

We've passed this chapel on visits to the Navy Yard, but just learned the amazing story of the 4 chaplains from Find in Philly. They shared that the chapel is a tribute to 4 religious leaders from different faiths who died together at sea when their ship sank during WW II.
