I have been working out at Planet Fitness for over three years. People fighting over weights, crowding over machines, and people shrug you off when you try to be friendly. I always felt that there was something missing in my workouts.Joining BPF, has been one of the best things I have done for my fitness training. Of course pricing doesn't compare, but it is a welcoming community environment and coaches that want you to succeed. Totally out weights (all puns intended) the pricing.Clean gym, friendly people, enough room to workout, plenty of weights for everyone, and social gathering. That a big W in my book! Im going to be a long term member here.

Breaking Point is a fantastic gym. The equipment and facility are top notch and the coaches are terrific to work with. They are very conscious of any injuries one might have and regardless of your fitness level or Crossfit experience you will feel welcome working out in this space. Their coaching skills are excellent and they provides clear and concise instructions for each skill/movement.

BPF has honestly changed my life for the better. Post- organized sports in high school, it’s always been hard to find a form of fitness I enjoyed and stuck to. I always like lifting but could never get the programming on my own or motivation to push beyond my limits. Not only have a I found a form of fitness I love and look forward to every week but I found a community I wasn’t expecting to find. I have never been of a fitness community that is so inclusive and non judgemental. Everyone here just wants to get a little better every day and welcomes you no matter your skill level. All of the coaches are fantastic and push you to be better but in a safe and educated way. BPF is honestly one big reason I am so hesitant to move more into the suburbs simply because I don’t want to give this place up. I used to think my “fittest” years were long gone but CrossFit and breaking point make me excited to see what’s next and I think the fittest years of my life have yet to come. Thank you to Jim, Rachel, Allie, Rome, Katoa, Pat and everyone else who makes this gym so special.

I absolutely love this gym. The owner and coaches have created an atmosphere in which literally anyone can succeed and accomplish whatever fitness goals you may have in mind. They work with individuals to make sure every workout pushes you as hard as you can push yourself (tailoring workouts to every fitness level) and provide support to make you push yourself even farther than you ever thought you could.

Breaking point fitness is an awesome place to reach your fitness goals. I was new to CrossFit when I started a year ago, but the staff here is dedicated to developing and cultivating your goals no matter what level your at. The coaches are very attentive to form and proper technique, which allowed me to steadily improve over time. The workouts are well programmed, detailed, and purposeful. I never felt like the workouts were random and they always focused on continued skill development. Overall, the coaching and support is top notch. I would encourage anyone in the Philly area to check out Breaking Point Fitness.In addition, the community there is so welcoming and motivating. I have never had such a positive experience at a gym before that made me want to push myself to my limits. It allowed me to re-establish a healthy lifestyle, which I am forever grateful. Unfortunately, I recently had to move out of state. However, if I am ever back in that area, I would go back in a heartbeat. Do yourself a favor and give them a chance. You will not be disappointed.

Love this place! Coaches are extremely attentive and there's no pressure to push yourself to the point of injury. Very welcoming to beginners. This CrossFit focuses on gymnastics and overall technique.

Whatever you've been doing to workout stop immediately and join this gym! I was doing HIIT/ boot camp classes for years until I discovered Breaking Point. I wasted a lot of time by not coming to this gym. You will never find anything that comes anywhere close to helping you progress in your workout goals. These classes will push you to make you the best person you can be. All trainers are extremely helpful and knowledgeable. They are very attentive to ensure you are getting the most out of the workout. They genuinely care about your fitness goals and will help you achieve them at every step. They will gladly guide you in your nutrition needs as well. All the trainers have given me countless advice on what to do with my diet and I have noticed a difference immediately when I took their advice! They can provide you with a personalized nutrition plan. They also have great procedures in place for COVID. I have been going for a long time during these uncertain times and feel very safe unlike other gyms. The community is very welcoming and friendly. Everyone wants each other to succeed. Any new person I've seen at the gym has joined and became regulars. Just walk through that door and change your life! You will be able to do things you never thought possible. It's an addiction for a reason!

An amazing community of people and instructors. Tons of convenient class times offered and easily the most knowledgeable coaches i have ever had the pleasure of training with. If you are looking to change up your workout, to get stronger both mentally and physically and to re-train your body to new skills this is your place.

I was new to the CrossFit gym scene and BPF certainly made me feel welcome and at home! All the staff is so friendly, knowledgeable, and willing to push you to the next level. Definitely would recommend if you're looking for a new spot to train!

I've been a member of breaking point for just over two years. I would consider myself a more lax crossfiter. I'm not training for the crossfit games if you catch my drift. The coaches at Breaking Point (specially coach Meg, coach Jim, and coach Alli since they coach my usual time class) are incredibly knowledgeable on all that is crossfit and willing to take the time needed with each member. They push you to do your personal best and reach your personal goals and understand that each members goals are different. The atmosphere remains free from hostility or judgement ALWAYS, contrary to the popular belief that crossfit is a cliquey sport. Some members train more diligently while others (like myself) simply train 1-3 times weekly to maintain fitness. They offer several packages to accommodate your availability. They have many classes daily that start from the wee hours of the morning to the later evening. There's a fitness level and a class for everyone. They really cover all the bases when it comes to that. Pre pandemic, Breaking point has given many members a place to socialize by hosting events such a a Prom, happy hours, charity workouts, and more. I'd highly recommend joining if you're looking for a place with any of the above qualities.

You belong here if you are looking for a place to make new friends, reach personal fitness goals or you're just looking for a good sweat! Breaking point is filled with coaches who will ask you to challenge yourself every time you step foot into the door but never ask you to do anything they don't think you can safely do. There are many classes throughout the day to fit your schedule. There are different memberships to fit your preference, from CrossFit classes to personal training. If you're not sure how to tailor your meals to meet your goals, you can hit up Breaking point's nutrition coach for help. Above all, all members are friends inside and outside of the gym. We celebrate each other when we witness someone hitting a personal record. We encourage one another to finish tough workouts even when the time cap has been reached. Outside of the gym, we celebrate each other's personal milestones like birthdays, weddings, babies, etc. Come join us!
