I was tattooed by Tom Taylor. I highly recommend this shop for custom work and there is also a lot of flash to choose from.

This is definitely a world-class tattoo shop with excellent tattooers. Without a doubt the best tattoo (blackout)experience I’ve ever had. Hoode is just amazing, he goes in with purpose and is driven, does not cut corners and knows exactly what he’s doing. Thank you brother!!!

While I personally haven't gotten the tattoo here yet, I've had several friends stop in for appointments at this tattoo parlor and everyone has had great experiences there. Their staff are friendly and Incredibly talented at what they do! This would definitely be amongst the top tattoo parlors I would personally refer people too in Philly

Justin Harris did a horrendous job on my floral sleeve. These pics are after 2 sessions. Look at the patchiness and blowouts -- would you get this tattoo?I have since spent thousands of dollars fixing his awful work.

This tattoo shop should be listed as one of the top ten in the US.I traveled to get a black out from Hoode. Words can’t describe how amazing he is. While getting my work done, I noticed all of the artists in the shop have amazing energy and some of the best quality/range tattoo work I’ve seen.Definitely the best tattoo experience I’ve ever had.Service: Tattoos

Specifically came to Black Vulture for work from Hoode- I'd gotten work by him before and it was wonderful.It was a little confusing because he told me to come in before the opening hours they have online, but after contacting them directly it was verified and fine.Hoode was able to tattoo over my scars and do quality work that I know will stay in my skin for a long time.The shop is an open-style configuration, dark and spooky just like I feel comfortable in. Hoode and the rest of the crew (both artists and counter staff) were chill and pulled no punches.I can't speak on the other artists as I haven't gotten work by them, but Hoode is wonderful and the rest of the people there were so chill and friendly.

My friend and I came in today as walk ins. Everyone was super nice and friendly, but we have a couple things to point out. I had Tom Taylor, and what I asked for was some small text on my back. On his website it is clear that he is a talented artist, but there were of course no images of his work with text. It was a concern for me that I did not have any text/line work of his to go by but he re-assured me that he could do it. When I saw the stencil I pointed out that one word looked bigger than the other, but I was assured that it wasn't. I knew something looked off but I trusted his expertise. Now it is tattooed, and it is clear that one word is significantly bigger. Some of the letters in the script are not even connected. The first word is slightly higher than the second word, and the whole thing is slightly slanted. In the end, he was very friendly, but I do not recommend for text. It is frustrating to pay $100 for uneven work. Bird, on the other hand, did a wonderful job with my friend's tattoo and we could not recommend more!

First time here and Justin Harris just made a life long customer. Very responsive with emails and questions through the whole process. I’m beyond amazed at the incredible work he did on my arm. I absolutely love my tattoo from him and would recommend him to anyone. Amazing artist and super nice dude.
