I was there during wrestlemania weekend and the staff was, knowledgeable, professional, friendly, and made you feel like you were home. Especially Craig, Darnise, Sharee, and Wendy. All great staff and I would go back in a heartbeat.

This was our first time staying here. It was in walking distance of all the historical things and yummy restaurants! All the staff were very friendly and helpful! The hotel itself was absolutely AMAZING! The rooms were very clean, the hallways were clean, the lobby was clean! Everything was clean.I would highly recommend staying here. We are already planning another trip so we can stay here again! ?

We had the king street view with the queen pull out sofa bed. It was a beautiful view, great service. Breakfast food items were good and quite a variety. One of the few places that have a hot breakfast with the room rental in such a great location and great price. Parking wasn’t far at all and I loved that it wasn’t nearly as busy as center city but still easy to get around.

Pros: Walkable to all kinds of things from restaurants to museums!. Staff was super welcoming and friendly. Breakfast was delicious and had a good variety. The room was a decent size and the beds were comfy. Parking garage wasn’t too far away, but make sure you pull in front of the building to unload your stuff first. The hotel felt very cozy and private and we barely even saw other guests apart from breakfast- which never felt crowded.Cons: The front street does have its issues with construction areas that are a little bit of an eye sore. We got a Streetscape view w/ Double Queens beds. Unfortunately, there’s not much of a view because you’re still facing a building and the window framing doesn’t really allow for much general visibility. The only other thing that was not the greatest was that we were put in the room right by the elevator. Due to the age of the building, the elevator makes very loud creaking noises and vibrated our walls. Luckily, this isn’t a crowded hotel- so it wasn’t constant.Overall, the cons did not outweigh the pros and I would gladly recommend this hotel!

Wonderful location. Very clean well appointed rooms..small but nice. Nice to have coffee & cocoa available 24 hrs. Only complaint is cheap plastic toilet seats that can't stay tightened to bowl...Annoyingly jerks around when you sit..

Really enjoyed my stay here. Amenities were fantastic. Best continental breakfast I’ve had at a hotel in a very long time. LOVED the daily free cookie hours, hot chocolate bar in the lobby and Wednesday wine and cheese night! Rooms had thin walls so you could hear your neighbors a bit but overall very quiet hotel. Really charming with great historical vibes. Close to EVERYTHING!!! Kelsey the sales manager was phenomenal. I will be back again tomorrow for a second stay!!! Thank you for a great experience. Looking forward to coming back again.

We visited this place in November and loved how amazing everything looked. We got to use the Reception and take some amazing photos of our bride.

I was not familiar with Philadelphia. So I called the front desk rep. and spoke to the general manager, Jessica Morris. Both answered all of my questions. Jessica also sent me an email that detailed the attractions and pricing for transportation. It was also nice to go downstairs for breakfast rather then venturing out. I would stay at this hotel again.Nearby activities: Museum was across the street.

Lovely lobby, complimentary hot chocolate and cookie stations. Major con was that the walls are incredibly thin, and so I heard guests talking through the vents at 1am when I was trying to sleep. Suggest not booking here if you want a quiet night’s rest.

We really enjoyed our stay at Independence Park, and really have 0 complaints. It is located in a very convenient area that is within walking distance of shopping, food, and a lot of historic sites! We loved that it is a historic hotel built in the 1800s, which just fits in so well with Old City Philly. It’s a smaller hotel (only 40 rooms), but the rooms are very spacious with tall ceilings! Hotel staff still had the Christmas decorations up when we visited in January, which gave the place a really warm feeling. The staff were super friendly and helpful! Debbie in particular went above and beyond for us. She really seems to care deeply about her guests and their experience at the hotel, the woman deserves a raise! As far as amenities go, the rooms do have a coffee machine in them and complementary breakfast is offered each day starting at 7am. The rooms are not equipped with a microwave, which may not be necessary for most folks anyway. There is no washer and dryer available for guests to use and the closest laundromat is nearly a mile, this proved to be a big issue for us.Overall I would definitely recommend this hotel

Heel fijn hotel! Goede ligging in het historic district. Op loopafstand van metro, bus (incl. Greyhound/Flixbus etc.), trein (o.a. Jefferson Station van/naar vliegveld) en Pennsylvania Convention Center.Rustige ligging, heerlijke en schone kamer.Zeer vriendelijk en net personeel.Verdiepingen bereikbaar per lift of trap.

Stayed here just for one night while in from out of town. Everyone was very friendly, esp the gentleman at the front who helped check us in late in the evening. The room was very, very clean which I loved. However, there is no way that the bed I had was a queen, though the same very kind front desk guy assured me it was. It was comfortable, but tiny. The room itself was small but had everything we needed and the climate control was easy to use and quickly made the room comfortable for us. Would certainly recommend, but go for the rooms with a king bed.
