I remember this store from way back in the sixties. It was always the place to go to get a real good hoagie and an ice tea or soda and it was so close to home, I grew up on 5900 block of Weymouth St.. The name of the store changed so many times but was always friendly owners. Back then it was George's, then Jack's & Al's, then Pete's, then the The Deli Hop. Too many memories to mention on a review but you get the picture. We moved from the neighborhood around 1982 so I don't know much about the store after that. It was always a very friendly place to shop for things you might have forgot when doing major shopping.

My favorite corner store, lunch meats are always fresh, I love their hoagies/sammwhiches. They are so cool, and always smile and ask how I'm doing. Only corner store I go to outta all of them in my neighborhood. Such a decent store!! Oh and it's always clean!!! They stay on top of the store and for little as the building is it's always a pleasurable shopping experience!! Stay positive friends I'll be in touch!!
