Came in for a name update/correction... What a weird experience. Dim lighting, no staff visible, totally silent except for someone in a back office talking to a client on speakerphone. Someone materialized after 5 min and I got the name change done... Except that the middle initial was incorrect. Guy swore up and down that "it's right in the system" so I signed the document anyway. (I am hopeful -- but not confident -- that I won't come to regret that.) Oh and then I asked if I was going to get a new debit card, and he went ahead and issued me one without telling me that my current card would be cancelled instantly and it would take 7 to 10 days for the new one to arrive. Sigh.

It’s the best bank office ever. Chidinma is very attentive and supportive in all my questions and matters. The office itself is new and you can comfortably wait for your appointment in the lobby. The staff is very polite, friendly and try to help. I love this bank and so glad I chose this office.

I just want to say the quality of service here is better than any other bank in Philly. I went to WSFS, Santander, Citizen’s, and Wells Fargo to open a business account, and they were all useless. No help at all.

I had to take care of an issue, and not knowing that every single thing needed to be appointment only, I was able to get in that day. The teller entrance is on the south side, and the important mortgage-y appointment people are on the north side. Just a warning that you should call before you go in.

I called prior to arriving to deposit a check under my significant other and I and asked if both needed to be there in person they said no. When I enter I was told I needed my significant other mind you I called prior. My significant other was not in town and made it before they closed their store, both of us had proof of IDS and check. YET again now we needed a joint account to cash the check. The service in Bank of America is horrible. I would never bank with them and my significant other will be moving his business and personal accounts elsewhere. Racial profiling is major and even successful people of color are being judged by their own kind. I don't understand why employees under the manager Hana would give false information not ONCE but TWICE. Sticking with Chase.

Terrible bank. Don't waist your time or money with these people.

Can you please extend your hours beyond 4pm? Any person with a typical 9-5 job cannot possibly make it in during your weekday operating hours to do their banking needs.

WARNING ABOUT BANK OF AMERICA: If anyone has accounts with Bank of America please consider moving them to another bank. I have been involved in a 4 month saga that has consumed over 100 hours of my time trying to get them to accept a power of attorney for an elderly relative of my husband. Their process requires you to sit at the branch while lawyers located elsewhere review your documents. After several hours they will tell you you need something else and you will need to repeat this process for each time they ask for something new at subsequent visits. No person can continue helping you from visit to visit. You start over each time. We have now spent several thousand dollars on lawyers and had brand new documents executed including their own forms which they rejected since we "should not have been given their blank forms." I kid you not. I have had powers of attorney recognized by Wells Fargo, Santander, Provident and M & T Bank in a single visit having after having their bank's one page form executed and notarized by the account holder. Get yourselves, your parents or other loved ones out of Bank of America before they need your help!

If you need to interact with a teller, give yourself an extra 20 minutes just to wait in line. Seen the line get to the door with only one teller working in the middle of a weekday.
