Love this place, Mr. Baldwin is great. Took one of my favorite jackets in to get the zipper replaced and I'm so happy with the result. A simple fix but visible on the front of the jacket. I'm so glad I went here because the attention to detail and the neatness of the work was A+. Also turned it around next-day!

Baldwin leather has had my leather coat for 3 months and only 1 email saying sorry for the delay. Called at least 10 times and all calls go to voicemail which is full and no message can be left

I brought a leather jacket in to have the sleeves shortened. The craftsmenship was excellent, and they did it very quickly for a price much lower than other places i had inquired at. The staff was wonderful and friendly.

Chris helped us by texting photos of fabric and then sending it express to me overnight. I really appreciate the excellent service and the beautiful fabric, as well as a kind human on the other end of the phone!

Staff was very friendly. Asked for a small repair on 2 of my favorite pairs of jeans. Took 20 mins and the repairs are perfect, can't tell there was ever a tear. Convenient location as well.

I had a problem with the zipper on a leather jacket purchased in turkey. They were able to replace the same day for a modest price. Terrific friendly service.

I generally only do Yelp reviews for outlets that are amazing or woeful. In my opinion Baldwin's is woeful, perhaps the worst retailer I have ever encountered.So here's the deal: he somehow got Best of Philly a couple of years ago. I like nice stuff, so I took a couple of suits to him for tailoring. Then the chaos started.So I bought two new suits and took them to him for tailoring. I called the shop, talked to Larnell, and he set up an appointment for the next day with a promise of delivery one week later. So far, not so bad. Then the rest happened...I showed up for that appointment... and the shop was closed, door locked, lights off, no tailor. I called him on his cell phone given to me by an associate of his, and he said he'd be there in an hour or two, so I went back and got fitted a couple of hours later. Frustrating, but okay. He promised delivery on the two suits 7 days later.So I showed up 7 days later to pick up. Store was closed. Called him on his cell phone again to emphasize that I needed my suits (one of them was for my wedding!), and he told me he was on vacation several states away. When I emphasized he promised delivery on that day he had one of his employees come open the shop several hours later so I could pick up the suit. And guess what??? No work had been done on the suits. Nothing at all.So then he promised it would be done the day he got back from vacation, which was a Tuesday. But guess what, it wasn't! I managed to get one suit back, and he promised the other suit would be ready the next day, Wednesday. So I showed up more than two weeks later and... yes... the suit still wasn't done. So I told him, that's it, give me my suit and we're done. And then the most shocking part... he refused to give me the suit back, literally yelling at me. He missed the fitting appointment, missed the pickup appointment, failed to do the work on time and failed again to do the work on the secondary schedule, and then refused to give me my suit back. That sounds a little crazy, and is also 100% true.So that's my review. I wanted to love the place. It didn't work out that way. What a disaster.

Great service fair price. Went in to drop off a leather jacket for a zipper repair the day after Christmas. Told me it would probably be about three weeks. He called me up later that day to say he had a zipper in stock and the repair was done. You can't even tell it was ever broken. Looks like new, in fact it's probably better than new! Wouldn't definitely recommend and use again.

Black owned,he has plenty material from leather,rabit,chinchilla,silk,cotton,velvet,and satin. Show him some LOVE. He can make anything u want out of any material. You want a leather skirt,Chinchilla shawl, or leather mask,or name brand material such as Louis Vuitton,he's got it. I bought 5 designer face masks, and I get compliments on them all the time. Pay him a visit,you won't be disappointed.
